Hello there! I'm 26 years old and a mom to a beautiful 8month old girl who is my love ( and my hubby too! ) I have struggled with my weight for as long as I can remember, it really hit me at about 16 when I realized that I was the chubby friend and didn't quite look like my friends. Over the years, I have fluctuated a lot and tried many diets. I was successful on adipex the first time I took it. I had lost about 60 pounds and got down to 150! I had never felt better... But it slowly crept back when hit a rough patch in life and lost my job. I have always been an emotional eater and when things got better, it seemed like I had already bypassed my previous weight of 210 so by that point, I felt like there was no return. My hubby has always been very fit and about the same size even she he eats bad which drives me crazy! The only time I have ever been able to lose weight is when my husband, who is in the army was away for about 6 months, I lost 30 and was feeling better but it all came back again and plus! Finally... My chance came to get serious, my husband was being deployed overseas :( and I wanted this chance to look good for him when he came home a year later... However, before he left, we found out I was pregnant!! weight loss would have to wait. Being pregnant and overweight was hard, I have never felt so self conscious before. I gained 50 pounds and weighed 286, about 4 months after giving birth, I got back down to my now 238 and I'm stuck! I pray that my insurance approves the surgery soon!
