Girl you're doing amazing I was banded august 13th! So we r a day apart and im down 22lbs... I felt the same way but we can do it, I get disappointed at times but then im like why the hell r u disappointed! Im doin better than I was before this surgery...

I had my surgery this morning and now im home and my chest is killin me ugh... at first I was thinking to myself before surgery what have I gotten myself into but now im glad im here on this journey with yall but wishin this pain would go away but from reading yalls stories I know it is worth it

We are in the same boat! Im 260 pcos and only I have 3 yr old daughter sooooo I am riding this journey with ya... my surgery isn't until august 13th, im excited but extremely nervous... my doctor has me doing 2 protein shakes and 1 meal for 12 days and then liquid diet for the last 2 days before surgery... I start pre op diet tuesday annndd I still havent found a protein shake.... keep us updated with your journey!

Omg, I am there with you... I was just scheduled for august 13th and after the long anxious wait I was sooo excited and now that its around the corner im starting to get scared... uughh good luck you're not alone

Im being banded August 13th too in Houston... Im soooo scared as I've never had surgery before but yet excited at the same time...

Oh my gosh I just got approved by my insurance company and my surgery is set for August 13th... im super excited BUT now that it's right around the corner im getting scared, I've never had surgery before... so I feel ya on being nervous, im excited but then im like what am I doing I can't go through with this... im so scared, good luck on your journey

I am using the same! My insurance is making me do the 6 month wait so I have one more weigh in and then I get my surgery... A friend of mine had him do her lap band and she is doing great! She had surgery almost a year ago and has lost almost 80lbs already... She gave me high recommendations so here I am waiting my turn and can't wait...

I went to my first consultation in january and am having to do the 6 month wait. But now im almost there! Time goes by faster than you think I felt the same in January and still feel antsy and can't wait (im pretty sure I look at the success stories on here almost everyday). I should get my surgery in july and would love to lose to my ultimate goal of 130lbs but we shall see.
