  2. Just not feeling full and having pain in my right side after I eat and not losing the weight I had thought I would by now. I also have the problem of not seeing my self as any smaller my friends think I'm crazy but in all honesty I feel I look just as big as I was.
  3. I have had my band now for almost a year and it has been a struggle I have so far to date lost 60 lbs. I spoke with a new surgeon because was not very happy with the office I was seeing I was having problems and none were being addressed in my visits, but when speaking to the new surgeon she had me convinced that I had choose e wrong surgery for me and that it isn't working out because of problems I am having. Has anyone had the revision surgery ? Or know someone that did ? I am just really struggling with this band.

  7. I have had my band for 5 months now and am down by 50lbs. I am very happy with my choice and would recommend it to anyone as an amazing weight loss tool. It is in no way a fix all you still have rules and need to stay away from foods that are unhealthy for you. This surgery is different from the bypass because you still absorb all of the calories you are eating and I can eat most anything still with the band.

  17. Give it time it took me until day 3 and finally went #2 today. I am feeling pretty well but hunger has finally hit me.
  18. Lol glad my using the word fart didn't offend anyone. Today I moved onto sugar free pudding, and yougurt plus all the fluids. I am still trying to sense out feelings of fullness. I also got my medicine down today I cut it into 4s and took it with 4 sips of water it seems to have worked couldn't do the crushed up medicine it made me get sick and then feel sick the whole day. Hope everyone is feeling well!
  19. I am now 3 days post op, yesterday was so rough had problems keeping some of the antiacid medicines down they had prescribed me which had all day made me nauseated. I am doing 75% better then yesterday Decided to lay off the meds until my post op visit. I quit taking my pain meds the 2nd day I was home it kept me tired and not moving around enough. Today and not to be vulgar was able to fart and it felt amazing to not come up as a burp. Hang in there it gets better and better every day just try to do as many fluids as you can.
