Annoying Crap That Your Partner Does!

- Annoying Crap That Your Partner Does!
What's the most annoying thing your partner does? My boyfriend freaking puts his dirty laundry RIGHT next to the basket! Lol, could be worse, but why? Just.. why? Cutest thing? He grabs me in his sleep and pulls me close...aaand then snores in my face. Lol. Or when he wakes me up by petting my hair or face and saying "Good morning beautiful", or how literally every day this year he's told me that I was gorgeous or beautiful or sexy.. Without make up or hair done, he actually gets mad when I primp, he's a natural, tshirt and jeans type of man. I think my ex told me that I looked good maybe a handful of times during the 3 years, but none while I was natural, so it sure is nice! It hasn't made me conceited or anything, but it's definitely made me more comfortable as myself. =) Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using LapBandTalk- 15 Days To Go! Looking For A Buddy 10-17-2012. Getting Slightly Nervous
Thought that said Texas and thought we were almost neighbors so this post is edited. Lol. But my advice is to be in it whole heartedly or not at all. You're bound to fail if you think you will. It's a lifestyle change and you have to be committed. Don't let anyone here convince you to get it. Read the forums and find what our obstacles were, learn from them, learn the pros and cons, learn everything you can and decide for yourself! I spent a very long time researching before I got surgery and this forum helped me so much. Google is crap for researching the band (in my opinion) and has a lot of generic doctor answers (aka people who know how it works but not how it feels), lol, I like a real answer from someone who knows first hand, hell, I ask these people what's up with my body before I ask my doctor! Lol. Good luck either way. =)- Is Self Pay Worth It? Austin, Tx Area
Wow, what a jerk! Just browsing threads since I can't sleep. My insurance paid for my surgery in full (I had met my max out of pocket this year, 2 week, 100k hospital stay from a Pulmonary Embolism - no bueno!) but if they wouldn't of paid for it, I would of still found a way to cover it all myself. I just had surgery on the 12th, still a bit sore but otherwise I'm doing great and feel good about my decision other than the few "wtf did I just do" moments, which I hear are normal. Lol. So sorry about your friend's brother. I have a girlfriend that went to Mexico for a Sleeve. Her and her mom both did and they had a great experience, but I'd never go there myself. I'm in Houston and was banded by Dr. Christopher Reilly and I'm very pleased with him. Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using LapBandTalk- The Dead...after Surgery.
Did the "dead" last night. I had surgery on October 12th. I still can't bend or tighten my stomach, so he did all the work this round... So for him it could of felt like the dead. Haha. He didn't seem to mind though, he knows once I'm healed that it's on! Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using LapBandTalk- Sex After Lap-Band Surgery
I had surgery last Friday and we got it on last night. I was pretty much a "dead fish" because it still hurts for me to bend and tighten my stomach, but he didn't seem to mind, I'm all into it any other time so whatever! I was laying on my side and he ran his hands down my side and made a comment about how much I've lost and how he could really tell then gave me a super sweet kiss. I couldn't tell him no. Lol. Funny story, maybe something that I probably shouldn't share, but whatever - he usually.. you know... on my stomach (if we're in that position, usually aren't) but last night I panicked and stopped him and gasped "Wait! Don't do it on my tummy!" And we both laughed at my random outburst. Lol, one of those things you had to be there... not that I'd want you to be. Lmao. On another note, I can't wait for sex 50 lbs from now, hell, even 30 lbs. Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using LapBandTalk- October 2012 Bandsters
I just saved it and I'll watch it first thing in the morning! (trying to be quiet and my headphones are in my car.) I also just added a new entry in my blog on here, it's just a short update. I posted a picture of my incisions and it'd be nice to hear feedback. I'm pretty pleased with how small they look but I don't really have any to compare to! http://www.lapbandtalk.com/blog/7154-my-band-journey/ is my blog and again, you have to add me as a friend to view it! Annoying, I know, but I don't want non LBT random people around the Web to somehow see it. We all share a similar story - others just don't understand and my story is a secret because, well, I just don't have time for the BS, I got L-Bees to shred! - October 2012 Bandsters
I was told to take mine off but then I told them I had my lovely monthly friend and they told me to leave them on and gave me one of those oh so wonderful thick diaper-like pads to put on. Lol. I think that was the worst part of it. That and I woke up with Iodine all the way down to my girl parts, I bet they laughed at my diaper. LOL. My panties were hot pink silk boy shorts with lace trim though! Haha. The best part of my stay was that I had a very flamboyant male nurse and he was just hilarious, he definitely helped to calm me down pre op. This guy has TWELVE Christmas trees! TWELVE! Lol, oh no, if you know of me - don't tell anyone about my surgery! Haha. Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using LapBandTalk- October 2012 Bandsters

I wrote a blog entry about my experience with my surgery last week if you would like to read it. I'm pretty sure that I list the items that I brought along to the hospital as well. http://www.lapbandtalk.com/blog/7154-my-band-journey/ You have to add me as a friend to view it, but that's just one click. Lol. Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using LapBandTalk- October 2012 Bandsters
I was going to start on prenatal Vitamins again if they didn't start growing soon but it seems that they're doing great with what I'm taking. I plan on getting a mani pedi this weekend so I'll try that as well! Thanks! =) It's funny how little things like this can make me so exciting! I feel so much more feminine with decent nails! Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using LapBandTalk- October 2012 Bandsters
Also, seems silly but it's huge deal to me, last night I noticed that my nails are all a little farther than my fingertips and they're strong, not brittle! So exciting! Lol. I've had crappy fingernails for a long time! I take my Vitamins religiously now since I started my journey and this, to me, is a huge success! Now come oooon skinny! - Pain In Lower Abdomen Post Surgery
I'm having it as well. My other banded friends seem to think that it's gas, but when I think gas I think bubbles and bloating, discomfort - not actual pain. TMI, but I haven't had a BM since Thursday night (surgery was on Friday morning) and I'm thinking that maybe that could be it. I've taken a stool softener laxative, but nothing. I'm not too concerned since my diet is all liquid. Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using LapBandTalk- Anyone After The Surgery Had Some Weird Dreams.
Last night, my ex boyfriend drove my brand new car (which I do have, but we've been apart for years) up over a small truck then trashed it while taking it off of said truck and his mom blamed it on me so I beat her up. Lol, yeah, wtf. Where does my brain get this stuff? I've had many weird dreams since pregnancy and having my daughter 3 years ago, but they calmed down for a while and this weekend, I've had some weird ones. I was anorexic Saturday night! I'm pretty sure that there are surgeon's fees that you can't finance, as well as some tests that need to be ran. Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using LapBandTalk- October Bandsters?
All I have to say is props to those of you saying that ya'll didn't need pain meds. I feel like a whiney baby. Lol. I usually handle pain pretty well. Who knows, it might be my period added in the mix. Idk. Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using LapBandTalk- October Bandsters?

Just wanted to let everyone know that if you don't have a heating pad, you can use a sock full of rice. Just zap it in the microwave for a minute or two. I forgot that I didn't have one and was totally not interested in going to the store so I did the rice thing. My Nana taught that to me years and years ago. Also, I just added a new entry in my blog about my surgery. You have to be my friend to view it, but if you add me just click on blog. I put up a picture of my band (the actual band, inside of me. Lol.) if anyone wants to see. Dr. Reilly gave it to me for a souvenir. Haha. Pretty cool!- Self Pay Houston, Tx
I'm not self pay, but I just had surgery yesterday at Memorial Herman Memorial City and just wanted to tell you that I went through True Results and had Dr. Reilly and literally EVERYONE that I've worked with at both offices has been great, I love my surgeon, and the hospital was very nice except for my night nurse, the one bad apple, Charlene.- October Bandsters?
