  1. It gets better! If you can, just sleep and walk for the next few days. Lol. That's what I did! May you have peaceful and skinny dreams tonight! xx Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using LapBandTalk
  2. I might require an intervention sometime soon. Lmao. I'm addicted to Pinning on Pinterest! We're moving in less than a month and I've got tons of projects planned to start the second we're unpacked. I've already started cooking all kinds of stuff that I've pinned! Good thing about it though, is that I'm not really interested in eating it... Just making it for the boyfriend and daughter (Who could eat lard for a week and not gain an ounce. Definitely didn't get that from me!) satisfies me greatly. =) Anyone in Houston? I need a garage saling buddy... I need some "junk" drawers and side tables for a project. Lol. (I've always loved turning trash to treasure!) Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using LapBandTalk
  3. When I "eat" (drink) my food, I've been getting a pain in my lower left side. Is this my.... Full alert? I'm so ashamed that I've never really felt full, it's always been stuffed cause I'd clean my plate and eat because I just wanted to! Again, I just had surgery on the 12th. I've been thinning mashed potatoes and other thicker stuff. I was told this was okay, but maybe I should just stick to the cream Soups and broth? =/ my "mashed potato water" makes me feel full and gives me more energy than the other stuff. =( lol, all I wanna do is sleep this week! 4. Thanks for all the feedback! Negativity doesn't really affect me, but I'm the type to speak up. Lol. I just want to ask them what the hell they were thinking when they got the band! On another note, when I "eat" (drink) my food, I've been getting a pain in my lower left side. Is this my.... Full alert? I'm so ashamed that I've never really felt full, it's always been stuffed cause I'd clean my plate and eat because I just wanted to! Again, I just had surgery on the 12th. Chugging along. <3 Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using LapBandTalk
  5. Wtf just happened here! Lol. Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using LapBandTalk
  6. So, I have a bunch of friends on another app that I use and I'm starting to see a pattern in a few of them. It's almost every day they post "today wasn't good, tomorrow will be better", well, yeah, that works here and there and we ALL have bad days, but for most of us - tomorrow actually comes. It's not my concern or my business, really, but they post this, like I said, almost every day! I'm not sure if I want friends like that. Is that wrong of me? They're sweet people, but posting that over and over makes me want to speak up and question why they even got a band to begin with. Eating that much and that poorly sure can't be good on the band either! I'm in no way perfect and I expect to have hiccups here and there, but ugh, just had to vent. Is it wrong of me to want to delete them? They constantly get positive feedback from others, and I wish I could keep giving my support to them, but you can only help someone so much, right? 7. I'm finishing up my huge tub of Elite fusion but it's made me feel like I have indigestion or reflux (don't know, never has either prior to surgery) the most out of all the fluids I've been taking in, so I gave it up already. =( Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using LapBandTalk
  8. Thank you. =) I'm not in a rush, but I do feel that I'm not getting enough Protein. I'm having a very hard time. I got unflavored and I'm going try to add more to my soup today. It kinda gets pasty so I have to spread it out during the day. Lol. But I'm taking my Vitamins, I can't be too bad off. Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using LapBandTalk
  9. I'm sorry that ya'll are uncomfortable. =( Hope ya'll feel better! And FYI, when I said mashed potatoes, I meant really thin, watery mashed potato Soup. Lol. They weren't great at all, but went down fine, as does cream Soups. I'm sooo nervous to start other foods in a couple weeks. Lol. Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using LapBandTalk
  10. I have a crappy feeling deep in my throat... Reflux, indigestion, I'm not sure - I've never had either. As for restriction, I wouldn't be concerned as far as having a problem with it. All doctors are different. Mine puts a small amount of Fluid in during surgery, so maybe that could be the difference between you and I? When is your first fill? Stick to whatever post op diet you're on and try to take it easy (food wise) until a fill! =) Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using LapBandTalk
  11. I have my blog on here. If you add me as a friend you should be able to view it straight from my profile! I have it set to friends only so I don't get views from non LBT members. Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using LapBandTalk
  12. I went through True Results and had Dr. Reilly. I love him and his staff. =) Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using LapBandTalk
  13. I have it as well. Banded on the 12th. I go to my doctor on Tuesday and will update with what he says! Seems normal to me though... I mean it IS a foreign object in there. Lol. Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using LapBandTalk
  14. I had surgery on the 12th, I was the same way but now I can eat 1/2 cup of mashed potatoes and drink my tea all day. I still have much restriction, just not like I did day 1. Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using LapBandTalk
