I'm in quite a bit of pain. Not really feeling gas anywhere but my chest and stomach right now, did everyone feel the shoulder pain right after or did it creep on you? I was 22 when I got mine! Be persistent! You know when something isn't right! I got treated like a whiney hypochondriac. But in the end, the hospital had to pay for the night shift not listening to me... They took an enormous chunk from my bill (after trying to charge me the full amount.... HA! I told them to shove it.). I wish you the best of luck and I do really hope that yours is really what they say, I'm pretty sure that Pleurisy isn't life threatening like a PE, not all ERs are ridiculous like the one I had so I'm sure you'll be fine. My surgery is Friday morning and I haven't been asked to do an EGD, is that normal? I'm using Dr. Reilly in Houston, Texas from True Results. I had registration and blood work done at the hospital last week and they said they didn't need anything else. Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using LapBandTalk

Blood clots! I had a Pulmonary Embolism and let me tell you.... I'd literally rather vaginally deliver quadruplets than go through that again! The pain is excruciating and the thought of "holy crap!, that could of just killed me!" doesn't feel good either. I'm coming up on my 6 month check up since my clot and I'm hoping to get off of my blood thinner, but this clot has changed my life. Because mine was from Nuvaring and smoking, my gyno doesn't want me on any type of hormones again, which sucks because I was only on it because of that. My hormones hate me big time since I had my daughter 3 years ago. I also have a much larger risk of getting another clot in the future. I'm blabbing, but if it helps one person then I'm happy! I'm in Webster (right outside of South Houston) but moving to Katy area as soon as we can find a place, as my boyfriend got a job in that area and the commute is ridiculous! I plan on attending the Last Tuesday of the month group, which I think may be the only one for True Results, not too sure? After many date changes, my final, for sure date is the 12th of October at Memorial City Hospital with Dr. Reilly! I'd love to meet people from here at groups!

Well, I guess I lied. =( doctor's office called and rescheduled for the 10th. Sigh! Hope it comes fast!
