Mine is Blue Cross Blue Shield of Illinois (but I'm in Texas. Lol. It's through a Union). I went in for my initial visit on 8/8, was approved within a few days, went back in this Monday for testing a labs. On Pre Op diet now, waiting for surgery date! Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using LapBandTalk

Cool! I'm interested! Another girl told me about the one they hold at the True Results office once a month as well! Once I find out my surgery date and/or get surgery I'll let you know if I can make the next one! Don't wanna make any promises then wind up with surgery that day! Lol. Just called insurance company. She said I already met my max out of pocket and had no explanation as to how I had met that, it's 15,000max. Earlier this year I was hospitalized for 2 weeks for a Pulmonary Embolism. The total bill was about 70,000 plus around 10,000 more for the private doctors and other visits I've had since then. MY total is about 5,000, insurance has paid the rest. How can that be? Does the out of pocket REALLY mean out of pocket? So confused. Lol. Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using LapBandTalk

I have BCBS of IL. I was just about to ask what people were paying out of pocket with them. I'm going with True Results. But, I've also met my deductible for the year and only have just over 2k left on my max out of pocket for the year. Kinda worried while I wait for the surgeon to call me. I'm assuming that since you're not happy with yourself, that like me, it limits you sexually. If it's with the right person, sex is very good for you AND your relationship. That's one thing that I can't wait for, to be happy being nude again. Lol. Losing weight will give us so much! Better health, better examples for our children, smaller clothes = cheaper clothes, better self image, more self confidence. Once upon a time I had a hot bod. I was into the same body type as I am now. I prefer larger men. Lol. My boyfriend is 6'3'' and about 260 lbs. The difference is that now I like NICE MEN, whereas then I liked immature, inconsiderate, lying, cheating assholes. (yes, I said this with anger and a few faces popped in my head) Lol. If he thinks that you'll leave him because you lose weight then he needs to reevaluate things and not let you being heavier be the only reason you're around right now! My honey knows that he keeps me around not because I think that he's all I can get because I'm overweight, but because he's amazing to me, for me, we have a good time, and he treats me very well, not to mention all that he does for my daughter, who isn't his own blood. I hope he can say half that about me. Regardless if I lose weight, I'll be with him because of those things. I kind of lost track of my point here, I'm half asleep (or half awake. =P) I remember seeing you post on one of my posts and I'm glad to hear that you got approved just as quickly as myself with no pre requirements!
