  1. Thank you! My BIL is a personal trainer out of state and he is designing a work out for me to shred fat. I should get it by the end of the week. Sooo excited. As long as I don't fall over lol! You can do it! The hardest part is just geting going to begin with.
  2. I had surgery 8/6/12. I jumped on the eliptical today for the first time in a couple years. Needless to say it kicked my ass! I'm not sure what possed me to follow that with another half hr on the treadmill on hills..........but if that don't break this stupid stall nothing will!
  3. These were amazing! The family loved them too!
  4. That's exactly what I did. I learned after 3 csections how to get up without too many tummy muscles. I roll onto my side then put my legs down the push my torso up with my arms. I still do it 4 weeks out just to be on thhe safe side. I'm not looking for more pain lol!
  5. Well its prettyh unoriginal but Susan Faye is my name. I figured I had been called enough nicknames on the basketball court- tree, big country, general etc.- I just wanted to be me for a change.
  6. Yesterday as I left the house to take my kids to school my pants, which were almost too small 4 weeks ago, took a serious trip south! Good thing the sidewalk was empty. Someone would have gotten an eye full!
  7. Mine isn't super high. I do take synthroid everyday in a fairly low dose. But my sister yakes a very high dose. None of us ever had problems conceiving, but we were young when we had our kids. I'm 36 now so I'm not sure it would be as easy.
  8. I had the same issue. Two days ago I decided to count thhe 30 between every bite. I havnt had any trouble since. It is a real chore to slow down when you have been told to hurry up and eat fast ypur whole life!
  9. My NUT brought me a jelly bean shaped pillow I call my belly bean. I still make sure I have it when I sleep. The one time I got caught without it and sneezed I really pulled a muscle that is STILL healing. An absolute MUST!
  10. My Dr also prescribes urosol I have to take twice a day for 6 months to prevent gall stones. I have never had an issue and I hope never to.
  11. I did have back pain from a pulled muscle. My surgeon said it would take several weeks to heal. For me it starts around my incision and travels around my side to my back. He said it was a result of a particularly hard sneeze that pulled the muscle. It is getting much better and the flexall really helps. Mine is all on the right side.
  12. Flex all is a muscle rub you can get at any walmart etc. It is in the first aid section usually. I have been using it since highschool. I havnt had anymore pain in my back or side since I started applying it. Just a little around the incision where I'm afraid to put it still lol. Good luck to you!
  13. I'm on pureed food still so no bread or anything. It may be from eating too fast. I will try to slow down. Old habits die hard I guess. Thanks for your response!
  14. When will the feeling of swallowing a super ball after I eat go away?
  15. I was sleeved on aug 6th also. I have hit the dreaded 3 week stall too. I have read sol many stories here I just decided to roll with it. It is frustrating, but I know it will eventually end. Good luck to you!
  16. Flexall proved to be a LIFESAVER! I applied it around my incision(not on) and around my side. The muscle pain has reduced by 75%. I am three weeks out too. I can't express how relieving it is not to have that severe pain!
  17. I use compression spandex for the bottom and usually I go with nike sports bras about a size too small. That way it keeps everything where it should be. I started doing that when I played college basketball and have done it wih sucess every since. You can get compression spandex at most sporting goods stores. I usually wear mens because they fit me better than womens.
  18. Hi Karen, I'm three weeks out and I have lost 21 lbs.
