  1. So happy for you! I have tears of joy for u right now. Will keep you in my prayers!
  2. Congrats! Keeping fingers, toes, eyes, and legs crossed.....LOL praying everything goes well
  3. I hate the powder protein! I bought a large bag at Sam's and thought it would be cheaper than the ready made ones. Right after surgery it made me gag each time then when I even thought about it I gaged I didn't want to wate it so I forced myself until one day I just couldn't so I went back to Sam's and bought the Premire and have been drinking it ever since. It really has a good taste and i never gaged once I never like milk shake or chocolate milk so I new this would be a challenge but the premier has made it easier to tollerate.
  4. The reason I ask is because I was told today it can happen anytime l
  5. Would that include drinking too much liquids l
  6. Wow two years! That's just crazy...This was never mentioned to me prior to the surgery. If I would have mown this I would have never gone thru it. Really scared of my future with the sleeve!
  7. Thanks for that sleeve of steel
  8. I was told there will always be a risk with leaks.
  9. I ask what happens to the staples and was told that in time they fall off and the seal has the scar tissues
  10. How long after surgery do we have to worry about leaks happening? I was told that there is always a possibility. I though once our tummy was healed that was it. I ask the question and before my surgery because i was scared out of my mind and was assured by the nurse about how the stomach heals and the scar tissues and eventually the staples all off. Now I'm hearing maybe! Please someone give me some kind of info I am really scared right now.
  11. I'm glad to hear that ur doing better.
  12. I have the same feeling! And when I drink my protein shake in the morning I get nauseous for about an hour. I hope that it goes away. It really brings me down. I wish I can figure out why I get it and how to prevent it. Please any suggestion will be appreciated.
  13. OMG i hope u feel better. Is ur hospital stay due to complications on the sleeve?
  14. Thanks for the encouragement. Congrats
  15. This website it my support! My husband and daughter are the only ones that know about my upcoming surgery on June 12. It's new to them and they don't understand but this website helps me to feel that I'm not alone and a great information tool.
