  1. I was give a pamphlet and enough info to fill a 3 ring notebook . I'm really sorry Destynee that you didn't get that, but I know everything will work out and you'll find the right Nut to help you and you will succeed. xoxoxoxoxo
  2. I really can't believe you were given LBS and not given any dietary advise! That stinks!
  3. Best thing to do is call or email your insurance company and ask them. That's what I did and they sent a whole list of things I needed to do and have to qualify. Every Ins. is different. I have Aetna and Arthritis was not considered a co-mobility . Asthma was It was B/P, Cholesterol , sleep apnea & asthma. If your BMI was below 40, you have to have two, over 40 none, but like I said that's Aetna. Your BMI 36.3 Good luck!
  4. My first fill was 3cc. Yet again all Drs are different. You really don't want to get a huge fill b/c you could blow right past your green zone. My Dr said the average fill to green zone is usually between 4 cc-7.5cc
  5. After googling this, I think I would talk to a nutritionist that is on your insurance plan. You know what they say about always getting a second opinion. Don't rush into this, do your research.
  6. I tell you Destynee, I would really like to see some responses to this. I never heard of it. Isn't HCG a hormone they inject you with?
  7. First 48 hrs felt like I was hit by a bus. You should take meds on time, wait to long and it doesn't work as well. Keep walking and get some rest! You'll feel much better by this weekend.
  8. I've heard quite a few on here saying that's happened. Take care!
  9. That's great! You will succeed if you continue to work with your caregivers. They, just like us want you to reach your goals! Best wishes!
  10. I had hernia repair with my LBS and healed the same as not having a hernia. My Dr said the swelling from the surgery itself would be the worst for 48 hrs. Is this pain worse after you eat? I don't think your pain is from hernia repair. You need to call your Dr and ask them about it.
  11. That is so cool! Congrats!
  12. Quite normal, I would pound on my chest trying to move it, never worked. I did find that if I laid down for 10 min it helped. Also heating pad on upper back. Hang in there, it will get better! Hot tea helps too!
  13. WOW, amazing! You look awesome, congrats!
  14. Happy Birthday GF!!!! Enjoy your day!
  15. Just come clean! Nutritionist can listen to you and help you through the Christmas is holiday's. Just like Drs, they've seen it all.
  16. It's still a great NSV! Sorry for your mishap, but you will make it next year. In the mean time, Go Hubby!!!!
  17. Like Missy said, the band doesn't stop you from feeling hungry and after liquids and mushy sliders, we're going to feel it. Filled Monday and had serious stomach growling, it was really po'd! Once you start with good solid proteins it will get a little better, unless we need another fill. Wecome to "Bandster Hell", enjoy the ride!
  18. I use MyFitnessPal app on my phone and it tracks everything for me. Keep my calories at 1000 , protein at least 60gr, Like to keep track of sodium too, for my B/P.
  19. I used it on my upper back. Also found hot decaf tea helped, my fave Chai tea.
  20. First fill Monday 3cc, just liquids 48hrs. I love my Dr., no pre-op liquid diet, no drawing out the fills diet.LOL True, the procedure itself was no big deal.
  21. jumping up and down clapping for my sweet Texas rose!
