Hernia Pain In Back!

I know that they say it takes longer to heal after lapband if you had a hernia repair. . .but how much longer? Tomorrow will be 2 weeks post-op and my back is giving me the BLUES! I'm in the car waiting on my boys to get out of school and I'm in some pretty awful pain!

I had my Hernia in The groin and it took near a month to feel OKAY.

I had hernia repair with my LBS and healed the same as not having a hernia. My Dr said the swelling from the surgery itself would be the worst for 48 hrs.

Is this pain worse after you eat?

I don't think your pain is from hernia repair.

You need to call your Dr and ask them about it.

It will get less frequent but if you exert yourself it will be back. I was banded 10/5. After 2-3 weeks I didn't feel it constantly but if I overdo it it reminds me that this is healing time!

No, not after I eat. . . but it is worse at night!

I had a hernia repair the same time as my lapband and it healed pretty quickly. I had very little pain after surgery
