    question for women

It's funny that you posted this question. I had a baby, 2 weeks ago-had gastric sleeve surgery in July of 2012....I had for children through vaginal delivery and my fifth child was a C section.
  2. Good Morning, How are you? How was the delivery? I am due in a few weeks and would like to know how you're doing. I was sleeved right before I got pregnant and I am a little nervous about having the baby and whether I will loose weight after I have him. I would love to hear how you are coping with everything.
  3. I am currently seven months pregnant and I was pregnant when I had the surgery but I did not know. The baby is fine, I look smaller, but the baby is on target with weight and growth. You and your baby will be fine. You will probably continue to loose weight for the next few months, then you will gain a little baby weight for the baby. I lost 25lbs, and have only gained seven back. Spoke to my surgeon and he said I should be fine. They recommend no pregnancy for 2 years post sleeve because they want us to get the maximum weight loss goal, but things happen and we keep living. You will be fine, take your vitamins, exercise and drink plenty of fluids. Keep up with your doctors and rest. We will get thru it.
  4. Sorry to freak you out. Let's bring it into perspective, I had the IUD for seven years. I think I was one of the few not the majority...you will be fine.
  5. Yes, that's the part I cannot get, I know I went to Mexico but I thought they did a pregnancy test before the surgery.
  6. Thank you Cookeeeeeez, I appreciate your honesty. I would not dream of planning anything like this. As a matter of fact, I got sleeved because I knew I was finished having children. I have four and thought I was done....surprise, surprise...
  7. Congratulations Ladies, I have an IUD, and last night, I found out I am 19 weeks pregnant. I was sleeved on July 20th, so needless to say I cannot wrap my mind around all of this. I will see my DR., this week to discuss all of these things. I am so worried.

    Ok, I'm Freaking Out!

I completely get how you feel. I felt like that six days ago. I was in my gown and listening to post op advice. Then I became so overwhelmed with what its that I wanted to run. Breathe, its only a temporary feeling. You will get thru the next few days by breathing nice deep breaths in and out. This is a great time to start!
  9. Hi I am two days post op and very tired and a little sore. I don't know what to do with myself. I feel weird, I am going thru all of these changes, inwardly, but outwardly I look the same. I know I have plenty of changes to experience. Unos do I cope with them?
