  2. Dont look at it as a stall. Its your body adjusting to all the crap being thrown its way... or not thrown its way. Protein is key and so is excercise. Keep following the plan and the weight will come off when it is ready to. Fat seems to have a clock all of its own. Hang in there... patience is key

  17. It's normal to a certain degree. I would call my surgeons office and explain what is going on just to be on the safe side.
  18. Oh and congrats on your journey so far!!!
  19. I started in a 28 pants 3 to 4 x top. In a size 8 now and med tops. I was a size 12 in high school. Never thought I would get this size. Still can't wrap my head around it. I'm trying to level out now but seems like I'm still losing inches so who knows where I will end up I was a year out feb 21
  20. Even after surgery your dr and or nut may require you to drink at least one protein shake a day. :-( my dr has upped mine to 2 shakes a day because at my year post op my protein levels were down. So I am back to drinking 2. Ugh and I'm 13 months out!! Hang in there ladies the trials you go thru now are so worth it!!!
  21. For months after surgery rotisserie chicken was my mainstay. Mainly cuz it's so moist. Good choice!!!
  22. I agree with what everyone above is saying. Low carb. Protein will fill you up. Course before surgery I had lost that sense of feeling full. One thing I wish I would have done before surgery was to walk walk walk. Do something to get moving!!!
  23. Hey Wayne. I started craving chocolate too and am a little over a year out. I have started eating one fiber one brownie a day. Maybe not everyday. But it's 90 cal and has good fiber which I am always in need of and a couple of grams of protein. So for me it's a good choice! And satisfies my craving.
  24. Oh and I haven't had any type of soda since feb 2012. It's the dieters crack.... Don't do it!!!!!
  25. My husband laughs at me everytime we go out to eat... I always order a water and never touch it. I tell him it makes me feel "normal"
