  4. Part of it too is in the past we failed and kept the clothes so we still had stuff to fit into. Say goodbye with a joyful heart knowing you are never going back and move on making new memories as the new healthier you

  8. Beth... You will. I thought the same way and still have a hard time believing I am where I am. That dang mind just won't keep up. 100 lbs is awesome and in a blink of an eye you will be where you want to be
  9. I agree with talking to a surgeon.. Also there is something called the 5 day pouch diet that others seem to have tried to get their pouch back in order. I would also suggest down loading my fitness pal to track food intake. A lot of times we think we are eating a relatively small amount of food and in reality we are not. Get back to basics. You can do this!!!!
  10. I am losing about a pound a month now. I was a year out in feb. but I have also hit my goal weight and just want to maintain now in the 150's so I don't start looking sickly. I'm a big boned girl and the 150's is about where I want to stay. May seem like a lot to some but at 5'7" I think it's a great weight.
  11. I tell everyone who asks. I would shout it from the roof tops if I could... it has been that life changing!!!! Not once have I been judged or heard a negative remark.... at least not to my face... lol!!! Hell, I want to be a spokesperson for WLS that is how much it has meant to me.

  13. Hey girl. I had an ablasion done in January and gained 9 lbs in the hospital. Its the iv fluid. Dont panic... I know easier said then done... It takes about 5 days to work its way thru. Just keep staying the course. Hope you are feeling well since surgery.

  19. I went home in 24 hours. I was walking laps around the nurses station. I have a severe aversion to hospitals tho and felt like I would heal better at home. And my dr concurred. Good luck and be sure and rest and sip your fluids. Walk as much as possible.
  20. Great recap of her book. I saw her reveiw in People magazine and wanted to read her book. This makes me want to read tit more. I have said it many times before... the mind is so much harder to fix then the weight
  21. I eat pickles all the time. I think I was 6 months out when I started crunching on them
