  1. Doing doing wonderful!! Just looked at your photos and you can really tell. Keep up the good work.
  2. I'm 9days out and have not really been physically hungry, but I've had some head hunger that's for sure. Also if my tummy is feeling acid I take liquid Gaviston, although daily I've always and still do take Prilosec.
  3. Going into Mexico you will not need to show anything. With that being said anyone driving back from Mexico to the USA must have a passport or enhanced drivers license . The people that live in border states with Mexico and Canada can apply for those. This is the law by our Government (TSA). I went last week and on the return the Border Agent checked our passports. I am a travel agent and deal with this all the time. Passports take between 4-6 weeks depending on the season. To expedite the cost is an additional 60 dollars. If you live in a city that has a passport office you can walk it through.
  4. The thing that really bothers me is that your surgeon didn't have the courtesy to come and talk to you after you awoke or the next day. In every surgery there are detailed records filed, which should be done by now. These show everything even the size of each incision. I would request those and review them before speaking to the surgeon. Perhaps someone there is trying to "cover their---". Best of luck to you, but I would definitely investigate a little.
  5. I came home two weeks ago at six lbs heavier. Four days later I lost the six and 8 lbs more . No worries:)
  6. I'm also with y'all. Can't wait to be thin enough to wear boots over skinny jeans and look long and lean!
  7. In Mexico they were running July and August sales. It was $1000.00 savings for me:)
  8. I pray that Dr Aceves can help you. How miserable and hard to go through this. Best of luck, let us know how your doing.
  9. Thanks for the good info:)
  10. Congrats to you! I'm jealous since I had gained 6 lbs after I came home from Surgery. But I did weigh again yesterday and lost the six plus 3 more pounds. How much fluids are you all getting in? I feel kind of weak but started protein drinks today and feel better.
  11. Fantastic, you can really tell a big difference. I'm only a week sleeved, since my beginning stats are like yours I hope my success is close to yours. How many calories do you consume, and what type of exercise have you been doing? Your doing great keep it up.
  12. I agree with the walking, also you may want to try gas-x strips. I also used a heating pad when I would sit on my back, it really felt good:)
  13. I'm six days out. Today started out great with no back ache. Now I've got a bad headache again, which has happened on and off since surgery. I weighed when I came home from the hospital (after flying home) and had gained 6 lbs. Weighed today and now I'm down three pounds from surgical weight. I can't seem to get all my fluids in.
  14. They had me shower the day after my surgery while in the hospital. They clamped off the IV for me. Had me shower there the next day also:)
  15. I'm sorry for what you are going through. Hopefully with the weight loss your confidence will build. You will than get out and with the right attitude you'll approach more people and build new friendships.
  16. Hi kellie, I love your before and after pics! Your hairstyle is great. You've given us some great positive info. I'm just 6 days after my sleeve but our stats are almost the same from where you began, so it is great to see:). Hope your going to enjoy the Olympics!
  17. Forty nine pounds is no joke, you've done wonderful. You've crossed over to the thin life. Congrats, hope I'll do just as well!
  18. No catheter only the drain.
  19. I'm an July 18th sleeved also. I have the occasional sore back. Just probably not drinking as much as I should. I'm on clear liquids till Wednesday so not really getting in the protein. Kind of tired today flew across the country yesterday from San Diego.
  20. I totally agree with being able to lose weight. I just could never keep the loss off. Sometimes I would gain back quickly, sometimes more slowly. I just feel this is a tool that will give me success in keeping it off.
  21. That is a fantastic accomplishment! Keep up the hard and good work:)
  22. Wow thanks guys I was pretty worried. Glad to know I'm not out hear alone.
  23. I had my surgery on July 18th. Just flew home and weighed myself. I'm 5 lbs heavier than the day I left? Anyone else experience tis, and what could cause this?
  24. Just got back. You will enjoy your Tijuana experience. dr Garcia is great, as is everyone working there. They will always be in touch with you, even at the hotel:)
  25. I've been sleeping on my sides, hugging a roll pillow to my stomach. I would normally sleep on my stomach but can't imagine it right now:)
