    I confess:
    1. That I hardly excercise
    2. I do not schedule my food correctly so I'm usually hungry because I'm not eating often
    3. I count calories but don't always mind what I eat (although I make sure it had protein)
    4. I drink 2 cups of coffee a day n two alcoholic beverages a week
    5. I never thought this would be so hard, 5 months out and I still haven't taught myself all the rules....
I feel like a failure and its depressing however I've lost over 70 lbs and its still working but I know in my heart, I can do much better if I got more serious... And yes I agree with others who feel some fellow sleevers can be very judgmental and forget they were fat once too with poor habits...

May you could add an option for none as most people do not gain weight. I have gained none. It does fluctuate 2 pounds close to the mentrual period as normal but it goes away in a couple of days.

I'm almost 4 months out and yes I would definitely do it again. 66 pounds gone and no complications. It wasn't the easiest for me right after surgery, but I would do it all over again!

More confessions: (I confessed about a month and a half ago)
    6) I confess that I don't tell people that I have had this surgery. Reason being if they tell me I'm cheating or anything of that nature I will have to punch them in the face.
    7) I confess I feel that I don't deserve all this weight I am losing. I have had to try so hard in the past because of my pcos and hypothyroid and I would lose maybe 20lbs and then gain it back much more. Compared to those days...this seems easy breezy, because I'm not completely starving.
    8) I confess that I hate skinny people who can eat whatever they want!
    9) I confess that I at 3 bites of a McDouble yesterday (for the first time in my life I had a McDouble) I have my monthly (sorry men) and had a craving so I allowed myself, had 3 bites and now that craving is gone.
    10) I confess that I have some kind of body dysmorphia. I don't see myself as looking different at all and as of today I have lost 58 pounds. How can you not see 58 pounds. I keep monthly photos and measurements, so that helps. I can see it when I look at the pictures.

I confess that I'm 2 months out in 2 days and I haven't been to the gym yet.
I confess today I ate 2 funsized butterfingers (Halloween candy)
I confess that I don't count calories, fat, or carbs. I just count Protein and Water and I've still lost 43 lbs.
I confess that I now think its disgusting the amount of food my husband eats at dinner and it almost pisses me off cause he's not fat.
I confess that I thought I already looked hot at 263 pounds and now I just think I'm hotter. (It may just be a backwards body dismorphia thing though lol)

Three or four little pieces of my husbands funnel cake with powdered sugar all over it. If I just have a few bites not often I think it's ok. It only happened once and I didn't feel guilty at all.

I've been MIA since surgery on 9/4! It's hard to read/type keep track of all these things when you're all drugged up! I've lost 9.4 pounds so far since surgery and I have my period, so I'm assuming I've actually lost more. I wish my stomach would stop twisting and turning every time I have a bite/sip of anything. Apparently that can last for a couple of weeks. Wishing you all luck with your upcoming surgeries!

VSGRachel reacted to amberj in No Carb Protein Bread!
Okay so when i was browsing around on pinterest i came across this recipe for a bread substitute. I made it last night and i must say I thought it was delicious. Whats even better is I am doing lilmissdiva's boot camp this week and I can eat this because it is only made with eggs cream of tartar and cream cheese ( or cottage cheese). It is delicious and very very easy to make! I was craving something sweet last night so I took a half of one and put some sugar free Syrup on it. It literally tasted like a pancake! If you are missing bread and dont want to eat all of the carbs, this is a perfect substitute. best part of it is that it is extra protein!
I used fat free cream cheese
***** make sure that the peaks on the meringue are extra firm
The recipe says it makes 10, but it made 6 when I did it. This is the breakdown for each one
    Generic - Egg, 3 large egg 210 3 15 18 Adams - Cream of Tartar, 1/4 tsp 0 0 0 0 Philadelphia - Fat Free Cream cheese, 1.5 ounce (28 g) 45 3 0 6 Add Ingredient
    Total: 255 6 15 24 Per Serving: 43 1 3 4

    About This Recipe

"These are a delicious home-made bread replacement that are practically carb free and very high in Protein. They are just like heaven so I call them clouds. Compliments of Kristin Patterson."
    Ingredients

    3 eggs, separated
3 tablespoons whole milk cottage cheese or 3 tablespoons cream cheese
    1/4 teaspoon cream of tartar
    1 (1 g) packet artificial sweetener

    Directions

    Preheat oven to 300 degrees.
Separate the eggs very carefully, there must be no yolk in the white.
In one bowl, mix together the egg yolks, the 3 T. of Cottage Cheese OR Cream Cheese and the one packet of Sweetener until smooth.
In the other bowl add 1/4 teaspoon of Cream of Tartar to the whites and beat the whites on high speed until they are fluffy and form nice peaks.
Very carefully fold the egg yolk mixture into the egg whites until mixed, but try and not break down the fluffiness of the egg whites too much.
Spray two cookie sheets with Pam or other fat-free cooking spray.
With a large spoon, "scoop" the mixture into 10 even rounds on the sheets (about the size of the top-half of the McDonalds hamburger bun; roughly 3/4 inch thick and 4 to 5 inches across).
Bake on the middle rack. Here is when you have to watch them, because the cooking time the same on any two batches. It is somewhere around 1/2 hour, but it could be less or more. You just need to watch them until them become nice and golden brown (again, the color of a McDonalds bun).
Remove from the pans and cool on a rack or cutting board.
While warm they are crumbly and similar to cooked meringue - but don't let this fool you! Once completely cool, seal them in a ziplock storage baggie or a tupperware over night. They will totally change their consistency, to something much more like bread - a softer texture that is nice and chewy. If you do not like softer chewy bread, then eat them as they are, nice and crisp.
Since the sides that were facing the pan are perfectly flat, you use these to spread things on, or make sandwiches, or even as a burger bun! The choice is up to you, and you will be quite amazed at how much like a bun these really are!
