I'm 11 days post op and noticing a difference already!

Here it is - before was May 2012, after is March 2013. From 255lbs to 124lbs at 5'6".

Financial difficulties can ruin any relationship whether it be a friendship or a marriage. Think about it, how many family, friends, and spouses do you know that fell out over money?
I keep hearing you say your friends say leave him. I'm not trying to be ugly but I do firmly believe that you should keep your friends and family for that matter out of your marriage.
I'm not saying let a man dog you or walk all over you by any means.
I am however saying that you guys made a vow for better or worse. You also have children that you are responsible for.
I think that communication is the key. You have expressed to him how you feel and as a MAN he needs to respect your feelings and meet you half way. You say that he said he won't make any stupid decision, well give him the benefit of the doubt.
In the end only YOU need to decide when it's over and when you've taken all you can take. Don't let anyone's opinion but yours be the deciding factor. Do know that not everybody wants to see you succeed!
Lastly, I'm not sure if you are a religious person, but prayer can change conditions. Pray for you marriage, your husband, and your finances. I promise you it works. I have had to pray my way through many difficult times and God has always pulled us through.
My hope is that you can find a common ground and keep your marriage intact if at all possible. I also pray that your finances can work themselves out. I've heard one of the veteran posters speak about how debt is such a burden and he often speaks against incurring it and he's so right. As the old saying goes "money is the root of all evil" and it is true. Oh and "more money more problems" that's also true!
If you need to consider bankruptcy that's always an option. And you can file and keep your house.
I bet if you take those financial stressors out of your marriage it would probably be a happy and fulfilling one.

One of my main frustrations with my body after I lost all the weight was the way I looked in a T-shirt. Yeah I could get an XL and drape it over my self and hide my tummy but thats no fun. I wasn't an Extra Large person anymore so why should I be doomed to still wear clothes that are too big for me. Im still only 35 days post op from my extended Tummy Tuck and still swollen, but am VERY pleased with the way I look in a T-Shirt now. And get this - Its a MEDIUM! I never thought in a million years I would ever be wearing a medium ANYTHING. Once I pack on a bit of muscle and a 6 pack I will be unstoppable with this shirt on. Watch out ladies. lol
$5,800 + Lots and Lots of Pain = Price for Extended Tummy Tuck. Looking Super in a Superman Medium T-Shirt = Priceless.

YES the extended tummy tuck is worth it!

I am just over a month. I have been hitting 500-600 calories. The surgeon & NUT said I should be shooting for 800 and 80g of protein with approximately 1/2 of my calories from protein then 25% fat & the other 25% from carbs.
I must say it is hard to do!!!
I have been stalled, but the other day my husband was walking slower behind me. I asked him what he was doing...he said he was checking out my butt!!! LOL he said he could tell I'm losing!! Success!!!!

I'm officially one month post op. I'm down 29 pounds including the pre op diet. I'm done with the liquid, pureed and soft food . Today I advance to the on going nutrition stage. Not going to lie I'm a little nervous. I feel like the chains are off but I'm afraid of running free, lol.
I'm really trying to be more structured with my meals. I called my NUT to ask about calorie intake and etc. She told me just to focus on Protein and fluids. I've struggled with protein because i can't tolerate the shakes. Hopefully that will change more that I'm eating food. I'm using MFP to track everything.
I'm curious to know what is your calorie intake for those one month out?

I am in the Marriott now... Very comfortable now... Tooth fixed and so energetic yet trying to rest at the same time! I will say this has been an amazing experience, crazy yet amazing! Had my first bowl of broth tonight and added a bit of Unjury unflavored Protein to it, it mixed well, could only eat a few sips....and then had a pineapple Popsicle, which was sugar free and refreshing, mainly for Water intake. Other than a bit of restriction with ,anger sips and a few minor aches here and there, I feel truly awesome!
There is a GNC next to the hotel which I can purchase ready made Isolate drinks as well. These Marriott beds are so comfy!!
Tomorrow our driver Samuel will take us shopping and site seeing.
I had my staples removed with Dr. Luna tonight, and he addressed any concerns I might have and released me for full liquid diet. His bedside manner is very clean and professional for a hotel visit....this group of doctors runs a class act.
Any questions, please ask, I cannot say enough about Dr Fernando Garcia and Ready4Achange and if your on the fence, this is a great group of professionals who run a tight ship! Those who are already booked, you are in great hands!

I just wanted to say hello and let you know that I am down in Tijuana, Mexico at Dr. Garcias/Mi hospital and my surgery is in about an hour!! Dr. Garcia has come in and spoke with me he is fantastic!! Everyone from Samuel the driver to the nurses and staff so far have been great, The facility is spotless and they use universal precautions and I am very impressed that far!! I will keep you guys updated and post as many pictures as I can so those who have not been yet can get an idea Of what to expect when they come here!!
I have already met several others who have already sleeved and they are doing great!! They are Walking the halls....
So, its finally my turn... Wow... Here we go!! Wish me luck and I'll keep you updated....

Ok, this has probably already old news, but if you have NOT tried these, you MUST!!! Made me soooooooo HAPPY today!!! (Yes, I know.... I have serious issues with food making me happy...but at least this is a good choice!)

I finally made it home to Louisiana safe and sound. Thanks to all my VST family for all the prayers and well wishes. For those of you that are traveling to Mi hospital and following in my steps, Dr Garcia and his staff will take excellent care of you. Trust in God and press on. I am reading all of this if anyone is wondering. I start to write something and then stop
I do love my husband. He has put up w a lot from me. With that said, I feel that he has been a major cause of me when I do have an outburst
I am going to work this out bc I do love him, he is a good guy in a lot of ways. I need him financially right now too.
It is difficult with the kids are around. Now bc I don't eat emotionally as much. I find I lose my patience w my oldest daughter. Primarily her, she is turning 11 and is beyond emotional. I am only 30 and having a difficult time with this.
I think I see hope in the future

Lot's of good advice has already been given. I'd like to add one more. While marriage counseling would be great, it sounds like you also need financial counseling. My husband and I went through Dave Ramsey's Financial Peace University several years back and it helped us to pay off all of our debt except our house (which will be paid off in 3 more years).
