  4. Anyone having surgery in the morning? I'm so ready to start this journey of happiness. I will be having surgery at the hospital where I work , SUPER EXCITED!!!!!

  7. Same to you smfw! I did some shopping today! And got all of my prescriptions filled. Including the 2 week injections that I'm not excited about.

  11. Darla, I was pretty much out of it but I could still hear talking. I could feel when Dr was removing the scope. No pain at all Andy it was very quick.
  12. Just had my endoscopy done today. I was so scared but it went very well and fast about 10_15 mins
  13. because i was concern if my records would be send over i just asked if i could pick them up myself and that's what i did.

I'm going though that process right now its not taking that long but the new surgeon is asking that I do more like i have to do an upper endoscpy, abdominal ultrasound, chest x-ray and the other surgeon didn't require that I do all of these things. Also they had to resend to the insurance for approval with the new surgeon notes and that took like 3 days as i was already approve with the last surgeon notes.

  17. He also said that the sleeve would go down hill like the Lap band., In a few years and that surgeons like doing the sleeve because it's easy.
  18. Butterbean, I was thinking the same thing. However I have several coworkers sleeve he has done. I was also thinking he want to do the gb because it's more money. Anyway I'm sticking with the sleeve

  20. Right! I told him I don't think I could prepare myself for dumping, memory lost, and all the other high risk from not taking vitiamins. plus from reading here it's plenty of people who had! Diabetes before the sleeve. I'm sticking with the sleeve as I have already prepared myself for it.
