  1. Dr. Davidson is my Dr. He is wonderful, very very smart and super caring. His staff is wonderful! I love Gayle she is so helpful!!!
  2. That is the best story!! Love it and very happy for you )))
  3. I was only allowed full liquids at 3 weeks but when I was allowed grilled chicken it was uncomfortable. I remember just being able to take the tiniest bites. I can tell you, it does get better but slowly. Maybe try it again later and see how you do. I'm able to tolerate just about everything now but this wasn't the case in the beginning. Best of luck and enjoy!!
  4. Could they be tension/stress headaches that are turning to migraines? I know pre op can be hard Try and stay positive and relaxed I hope your headaches go away. They are so debilitating.

  11. Hi! I am so sorry. I was wondering if you are able to get new insurance? Or maybe even try to get your surgery in Mexico? Lots of success stories from people who have gone out of the states for surgery.
  12. Tiffanni!!! Woohooo girl you are going to rock your sleeve!!! Fantastic job!!!
  13. Butterthebean is right. There is no comparison to our habits before and after having 85% of our stomaches removed. You will not be eatting what you ate pre surgery. You will need water to help your body keep up with normal function. Please do not play around with it, just drink your fluids post op and have a healthy recovery. Your body will already be in shock from this surgery, don't make it try and work harder than it will be able to.
  14. I was just saying today, I'm going to buy seat pads for my dining table chairs. Dang bones are killing me!!!
  15. So happy that your life has improved so much! Not happy you fell down but you got back up!!! Yay Cheers to all your successes!! Your an inspirational and caring person. You deserve it!!! Congrats )))
  16. So happy you went and are feeling better. Keep your drink with you and just sip as much as possible. All this constant sipping will end eventually but during this period it is very importante!
  17. Tia, you should probably get to the ER for some iv fluids. You sound severely dehydrated. It can wreck havoc on your body. Go get yourself hydrated at the hospital so you can feel better. You will be so glad you did. Don't make yourself suffer any longer. My prayers are with you. Let us know how youre doing.
  18. LOL, Yup I feel like a dog now. I could find someone lost by their scent. Not always a good thing. --__--
  19. Yes mine was in the 40's I think its from the anesthesia. Make sure your walking every hour. It helps gas, heart rate and healing! Hope your recovery goes smoothly! Your in my thoughts!!
  20. I was able to rehydrate but I am 4 months out. I would not have been able to get enough fluids in at 8 days out. I could barely get in 40 oz of water by two weeks. At eight days out I would say go to the ER and get fluids. Especially if your feeling the effects of it. You can start drinking some G2 to help but I'm afraid it won't be enough. If you can drink 64 oz in a day, I think you could rehydrate yourself. What are you getting in? I hope you do get hydrated and feel better!!!
