Last night I start to get pains all over my body. It's hard to describe, its like muscle spasms all over. I can't sit up or ill feel like my muscles are being pulled In opposite directions. I sat completely up and was nauseous so I laid back down. I'm so weak I keep moving from side to side, I went to sleep for like 30 min got up to throbbing In my arms and legs and I'm freezing. The heat is on 85 and I'm just hurting. I'm 10 days out has anyone else had this feeling.

I'm sorry you feel bad! Have you taken your temperature? It sounds like you may be running a fever.

Have you been getting enough liquids? Maybe your dehydrated. I haven't had surgery yet but when start to get dehydrated I get muscle pains.

Did they give you anumber to call if youhave any problems? I would call them or call the nurses line at your local hospital and see if you should go to the ER.

You are probably dehydrated and when you sit up it will cause nausea and cold. I litterly was shaking when I got dehydrated. Two IV bags later and I was good as new...:)

Whatever it is - drinking Water won't do it any harm and will likely do you good. Sounds like dehydration to me too. The first couple of months post op... the mantra needs to be sip sip sip but don't be afraid of asking for an IV of Fluid either.

It gets easier though so hang in there!

I hope you are feelng better very soon.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
