  1. The burping after drinking a soda is hilarious. I took my first drink of diet Dr pepper, I promise is was just a SIP and I let out this long long long trumpeting burp. My daughter grabbed the can back and declared no more soda for me. So now I sneak my sips and quiet my burps lol
  2. Really concentrate on your water intake for now. Especially since you have an active infection. Also the antibiotics you take to clear an UTI require lots of water. So drink as much as possible. Water overload
  3. I've colored and highlighted mine several times. No problems. Hope it stays that way lol
  4. Avillias- it could be lots of things but a few reasons it might happen would be constipation which can block our ureters from draining our kidneys adequately. Also maybe dehydration because in the beginning it is so hard to get our fluids in. I hope you start to feel better soon!!!
  5. Woohooo! Very good nsv for sure!!!
  6. The tv commercials were the worst. Ugh. I never realised how much life/tv revolved around food. I had to turn it off,it was making me so hungry. The only thing that got me through the healing process was repeatedly telling myself it was temporary. It was a very difficult time indeed! I was counting the minutes down to my next food progression.
  7. It's important to follow your doctors plan because he knows what he did and used for your surgery. Not all vsg surgeries are identical. Also with all the swelling we have after surgery, you could have a leak/problem and not realize you did damage til weeks later when the swelling subsides. I'm not lecturing or looking down on anyone, I would never do that, I'm just stating some information for consideration.
  8. Excellent job on the weightloss! You look stunning, very beautiful
  9. I was just transitioning from creamy/purees to mushy food at 4 weeks. Its hard to say what you can or cannot eat because everyone's diet is so different post op. I would stick with mashed potatoes, soft vegetables etc. I'm not sure at 4 weeks u will be able to handle turkey. Best of luck!!!
  10. Izuri! Congrats on your soon to have degree!! That's awesome! I love movies and video games as well, my teenage daughters got me hooked Hehe! Also love Stephen King!!

  15. What was the first test that diagnosed your gallbladder as being bad? Is it bloodwork?
  16. I need to remember that
  17. Glad you caught it, lissa Let us know how your doing after surgery. I'm hoping I don't run into any problems but I'm just not that lucky.
  18. Sami, it will get better. The first days are hard but walking helps the pain in your chest. Take some pain medicine and try to walk with someone helping you. Congratulations. You will feel better in about 3 to 4 days!
  19. I'm laughing so hard lol Okay so you will just have to say you pooped 10+ stones But seriously are u going to try it? It scares me -__-
  20. I know a guy who took Epson salt for a laxative, this is gross so I warned ya but he said his BM's were sludge for an entire day. That stuff is potent. If anyone tries it, give us an update.
  21. Cowgirljane- that's what I do as well I like to just steal a little off everyone's plate. I'm also guilty of telling my husband, "oh no you don't want a potatoe for your side you want beans" lol because I want beans Hehe Hopefully they still love me
  22. I too have PN and I've stopped taking my meds for it because they cause weight gain. It's a horrible feeling but I think the worst part was the testing for it. I will never forget that.. -__- Please contact your Dr ASAP! Best of luck to you!
