  1. Happened to me after a large round of antibiotics for big infection. Then I got CDIF. After about 3 weeks of not being able to eat and diarrhea I went to the doctor and he treated me with 2 more antibiotics and I finally got better.
  2. You look so much younger. When I first looked at the picture I thought it was mother and daughterLOL. Keep up the good work.
  3. You were beautiful before but more so now. Keep up the good work.
  4. Dana, I am pre-op and have been reading this site daily for 2 months. The statement about the ice cream and the chocolate is not wise, that is what got us the way we are in the first place. Someone correct me if I am wrong, but you should up your calories at THAT POINT with good carbs like fruit or some kind of vegetable. The occasional treat food would come sparingly after you are at goal and for maintenance as a meal FindingMeMe is doing now. She knows what she can eat and exercise away the next day because she is at goal. Keep reading and you will understand what I mean. Best of luck to you on your journey.
  5. Finding MeMe, Went to profile page and saw your picture and you have done fantastic. Keep up whatever you are doing you look great.
  6. I agree DON'T ROCK THE BOAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I retired after 30 years at one place and i always lived by that moto, no matter what. I have seen a lot of people cause themselves so much grief by rocking the boat.
  7. Good for you. I wish I could turn back the clock for my kids, but it is too late.
  8. Not to get off subject but HalfTheWoman, what a wonderful difference in such a short time. You are doing great,
  9. Could be appendix or even gall bladder. GB pain can radiate all over the right side. Can't you put a call into you PCP and see what they say. Best of luck.
  10. I'm pre-op and was wondering if you could have a lettuce wrap? That is a great way to replace bread.
  11. WOW is all I can say. Everyone of you has done exceptional. If anyone has any doubts, these posts will change there minds. Thank you so much for sharing all your NSV's. Susan you are just beautiful, what a transformation.
  12. What a difference!!!!!!!!!!!! You look great and must feel even better.
  13. I have the problem of eating something and think I won't eat this for a very long time and my favorite chocolate anything will be gone. But I hope the craving will go away after surgery. I am 1 month ahead of you time wise and I haven't yet mastered all the NUt has said but to be fair I have changed some. I no longer have carbonation, I haven't ate a sleeve of anthing at all (chips, cookies etc) My husband brought home a homemade blackberry clobbler the night before and I had none and it is still on the counter. On the way home from an outing last night I said I was hungry and was but drank water and went to bed. This is all improvements for me. I am more aware of what I put in my mouth than before. So count the little things you are doing and you will be surprised how you are changing.
  14. If I looked as good as the fat me on that site I would be satisfied. The thin me is really great. They forgot to layer all of our rolls on our stomachs and legs. Should have been a roll button
  15. Did you talke to your Gyno or PCP about this? That would be the first step.
  16. We spoke about a lot of things for 1 hour. Then I took a test that took another hour. Dumb yes and no questions. You will do just fine. And I also cried at times during the talk because I tend to be depressed. It did't have me fail. Don't worry please of cake LOL. Doesn't really serve cake .
  17. Mine sews over the staples and has never had a leak.
  18. You look FANTASTIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  21. As pre-op I want to thank all of you guys for all the truthful posts about you surgeries. It helps so much to hear all the ones that were so uneventful , and not so painful, went easier than expected. Thanks again!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  23. You must be so proud of yourself and you should be. Keep up the good work and soon you will see the skinny you in the mirror.
