C-Diff

Sleeved may 14th. I Have had diarrhea for the past 9 days going appx 10-20 times per day. I started treatment 3 days ago and am starting to feel better. Still very fatigued though. Has anyone else dealt with this? I wonder why it is happening at 12 weeks post op?!?!

Happened to me after a large round of antibiotics for big infection. Then I got CDIF. After about 3 weeks of not being able to eat and diarrhea I went to the doctor and he treated me with 2 more antibiotics and I finally got better.

So sorry to hear this. I have a chronic infection, also. The drs say it should be no problem with the surgery. *sigh* Thought I had a flareup a month or two ago, turned out to be bed bugs, LOL!

I'm sorry you're having problem with diarrhea. I don't have C-diff, but it's still something I have to be light about, anyway.

I hope you get better, soon. I just joined this forum today. I'm on my way to the vertical sleeve. I can't wait. I gained 8 lbs in one week, from last week for pete's sake. I eat, then don't go for days. That's my natural 'clock'. I can't wait to share with you guys.
