  1. I was sleeved last may and have a large abdominal hernia that I need repaired. My insurance won't cover the tt. I have heard that you can't go back and get a tt after getting a hernia repair- is this true?
  2. Mine was 30min of surgery. But in or like 2 hours for prep, anesthesia, surgery etc...
  3. I have uhc too. I got my surgery last may and didnt have to do 6 mo diet. However.... My hubby is pursuing now and has to do the 6 mo diet and 2 comorbidities bc his bmi is under 40.

  5. I also posted this thread 5 months ago.... I am now 4 months post op and have lost 60#. From size XXL to M and size 18 pants to 10!!!! It is major surgery and I did get a bacteria infection after the surgery, but was all better after antibiotics. I would do it again in a heartbeat.
  6. I had horrible headaches for 2 days straight too. Normal with the detox. If u cheat, then you have to detox again.
  7. The reason you feel so crappy is bc you are going through sugar withdrawal. It is better to do it now than after when u r healing. Stick with it.
  8. Sleeved may 14th. I Have had diarrhea for the past 9 days going appx 10-20 times per day. I started treatment 3 days ago and am starting to feel better. Still very fatigued though. Has anyone else dealt with this? I wonder why it is happening at 12 weeks post op?!?!

  14. Is this ok?.... 9 weeks post op. i have been having fake diarhea. I feel that "oh ****, I got to go now" feeling. When I sit, I get terrible diarhea cramps, but little or nothing comes out. This was a few times/ day for a couple days. Then I had yellow mucus come out in a big clump. This happened twice yesterday. Was like nose boogers. I tried miralax, still nothing. I see the doc tmrw but has anyone else had this?
  15. My father in law lost almost 250lbs in 1.5 years after his sleeve.
  16. Ct scan? I had to have an ultrasound. There were spots on my liver so I had to have a MRI done.
  17. My insurance just needed the surgeon to say in his report how long I have been struggling. Don't worry. The surgeons office knows all of the insurance 'tricks'.

  19. My docs office used barriatric advantage. It was $50 for 1 bag. It was 1 bag per week. I didnt have to use it, but they couldn't guarantee any other one was the right combo. So I did get the bag.
