  1. Same thing here, I've tried getting on in the evenings when I have some down time. There are always a few people in the band chat room but never in the sleeve chat room. Frustrating because if I'm on there it's because I'm antsy (trying no to eat, stressed about the surgery w/e) and need some to talk to I real time.
  2. That's ok, it will all catch up with you and it will be falling off in no time!
  3. Mine is Monday, I've been on the liquid preop since Friday and lost 7lbs so far (although I'm sure it's mostly water!).
  4. I used Cigna as well. They responded within 5 business days, but only notified my surgeons office since they submitted on my behalf.
  5. Congratulations! I'm so excited for you and the journey ahead..
  6. That's awesome, hope you're up and running around soon!
  7. Good luck! H Town is cheering for you :-)
  8. Giselle has a great point, pre-op measuring can be a good motivator...I'm going to measure myself now so that if I get in a stall later, or feel like I'm not making progress I can re measure myself and cheer myself up with how far I've come.
  9. Me too Candy, Jul 16th...we can do it! Healthy and lighting fireworks this time next year :-)
  10. How exciting! Glad you're feeling better too :-)
  11. That's awesome, congratulations!
  12. I had never opened up to anyone about how my weight struggles have made me feel until seeing the psych...I figured "what do you have to lose, if you want this to work just be open?!". It felt odd, saying things out loud to a stranger that we're so personal, then I CRIED all the way home (I am not a crier), I joked with my friend that the psych lady had broken me because now I cry at least once a week thinking about the surgery lol....the psych told me this was normal too, but it's all a little overwhelming...
  13. Thanks everyone, these are all helpful....I thought it meant I wasn't ready but I feel much more normal now after hearing from everyone! Plus things always look better in the light of day, for whatever reason it's worse at night when I have nothing to do but lay there and think about it :-)
  14. Congratulations on coming through and where you're at - inspirational :-)
  15. Thanks Ladies! I needed the pep talk tonight...I think I'm just hyper focused right now and so scared of messing up the pre op diet that the surgery is on my mind 24/7....I'm glad y'all are here!
  16. Good luck to you, and congratulations!
  17. Also...my date got moved up, was Aug 13 now Jul 16 so that's taken away 4 weeks of "mental prep."
