  1. What's done is done. You can't change the past but you can change your future. Now you know what to look out for and next time you'll be ready to have fun and stay healthy.

Contact customer support. They are great and will walk you through it. Mine stopped syncing and I never would have figured out how to fix it on my own.
  3. The key is to do something active 6 days a week. Don't worry about how far or how fast you are going yet. Just make it regular part of your daily routine. Your body will adjust quickly and that running will soon turn to running and you'll be shocked by the amazing physical things you can now do. Keep it up and watch it happen.
  4. Children's menu portions of the same crappy food is something I would be very careful about eating. None of those places are known for balanced or healthy meals.
  5. It might be time to go back to the NUT or seek out a support group. Everyone faces or eventually will face the same challenges. You have the tools but a little professional help might be what you need to sharpen them.
  6. 2 slices of turkey bacon with an egg is a really nice weekend breakfast.
  7. I was back in a week at a desk job. I could have come back a little earlier if I had to. Everyone is different though. You really need to listen to your body and not push it.
  8. I had a 6 month requirement. It was not fun but it did keep me focused on the goal.
  9. I've often wondered the same thing. I tracked my caloric intake for years and was never near what the charts told me I needed to maintain my heavier weight. Doctors would tell me that the diabetes medication I took was part of it. I think that those BMR numbers are BS. They may work in a general sense but each person is individual enough to see differing results.
  10. You can season it with just about anything. I like curry powder in my chicken salad. Fresh herbs are great too. Try some chopped tarragon and a little dijon mustard. Chicken salad doesn't have to be boring.
  11. It's time to go back to the NUT and seek a support group. You don't need to do this on your own if it's too difficult. There is professional help out there.
  12. Hot Hot Hot! Amazing job. Just keep doing everything you are doing.
  13. Yay! Great way to end the old year and get ready for your new life.
  14. If you exercise every day you will feel better every day. It's that simple
  15. You won't even know it happened. It's like time travel. You'll close your eyes and when you open them again it will be over. It will feel like no time passed at all.
  16. Looks like someone got lost on the way to the Steelers board
  17. I stayed 1 night but I have heard of this being an outpatient for some. If you are having issues after the procedure don't be quiet about it. They won't kick you out if you aren't able to leave. In fact you should call them up and ask them how they handle things if you need to stay. It's always helpful to know exactly what you are getting into.
  18. Wow, you captured everything I've been dealing with. I'm going to work on the exact same thing. A lot of mental baggage to get through but once you do it you are much better off. Thanks for the post
  19. I was given the okay for alcohol in moderation after a month. Moderation is the key. If I do drink it should be no more than 1 a day. Honestly though it doesn't sound enjoyable. I'm waiting for a while before I try it.
  20. 2 weeks out I was cleared for stomach exercises. I do Yoga for core. It's great.
  21. A woman was fired for being too attractive and just lost her appeal to the state supreme court. Earlier this year a bunch of people in Florida were fired for wearing the color orange to work. You can lose your job for almost anything and that includes not showing up to work for an unapproved absence. I'm glad that doesn't apply to you but unfortunately it does to many of the rest of us. http://www.clickonde...lo/-/index.html http://www.nydailyne...ticle-1.1047960
  22. Get better soon. Just reading these posts your attitude seems to be great. You're going to get through this and come out better than ever
  23. What's the hurry? This isn't a race. You don't get bonus points for losing it quickly. Steady weight loss over the next year is all that matters. Don't worry about how much you lose after a couple of weeks or a month. See where you are at 3 months out. If you are a quarter towards your goal at that point then you are fine.
  24. My NUT gave me the okay for alcohol in moderation for Christmas and New Years Eve. Honestly I've made the decision to avoid until the Super Bowl but it's nice to know that she's okay with it if it was something I wanted.
