I'm about 3 months post-op and like most of us, sex is getting better and better.
But I have a very happy, unexpected surprise...easier orgasms.
I don't know about y'all, but I have a "go-to" position to orgasm but now I don't have to use it! I can "finish the race" in any number of ways now and that, my skinny friends, is AWESOME!
    You?

I read here to put turkey pepperoni in between 2 paper towels and microwave them for about 35 seconds. It makes them crunchy and I'm LOVING them with a Babybel cheese!! Mmmmmm....
Also big, blue cheese stuffed olives.< /p>

It'd be great if I had the time to get my Vitamin D from the sun several times a week, but that's laughable for me right now!
What supplements are y'all taking and where'd you buy them?

I don't know if I see any real "beating" I read it more on the line of people expressing their opinion In order to figure things out. Perhaps, not very gracefully or with kind mannerism, but dang, this is a forum and surely y'all know that this is reality. As much as we wish for all candy and cupcakes in life.. It isn't so.
It's impossible to have this amount of opinions and expect agreement and niceties .. Just let things go and don't take it personally.

Cut your Protein in half... Excess protein is stored on the body if not used. 120+ and food is wayyyy too much.
I hope this works out for you
Sorry your having to go thru this... I posted to you on another thread. Take care!!

Not NOLA but Baton Rouge here, too! Dr. Allain on 10/15.
It takes an especially strong person to make this change while being surrounded by THE BEST food anywhere.
I'm dying for a muffalotta from Central Grocery and some "thin" fish from Middendorf's!

I feel you on this!! I struggled MIGHTILY during what used to be my TOM (I had a partial hysterectomy; still have ovaries). I thought of nothing but food & EATING for 4 straight days and I thought I'd lose my mind. I managed it ok in the end, but it was brutal.

I'm questioning my decision to take the scale out of the house. I feel like I've either stalled or I'm losing veeeerrry slooooowly. No changes in my clothes for a couple of weeks now.
I had DH take the scale out at about 2 weeks post-op bc I was obsessing. Now I only weigh at doctor's appointments which have been every 6 weeks.
My concern is that I may need to change something in my routine if I've stalled but I won't know!
    Thoughts?

Good lord I love this thread. I am a binge eater and a secret eater. If I picked up food for work or home, I always had something "extra" to eat in the car on the way back. If I had to stop at the drugstore, I got a candy bar and ate it before I got home. I'd sit in my car and eat lunch after driving through somewhere bc I didn't want anyone to see how much I ate. And when I'd get donuts on the way to work, I pretended that some of them were for my coworkers, but they were really all for me.
It's such painful behavior and it's both humiliating and liberating to admit it. My BFF and I (both with troubled childhoods and difficult mothers) "joke" about our addiction by saying, "Well, lets just go eat a hug." I've always HATED myself for having no willpower and feeling powerless over food.< /p>
I'm about 3 months out from surgery and my appetite is returning to a certain degree. It terrifies me. To date, I have not "cheated". I'm proud of myself for choosing well so far and I have an amazing DH and circle of friends cheering me on. I know I'm one of the lucky ones.
I'm trying hard to deal with my addiction to food and it is like dancing with the devil. I come my a family of addicts and worry every day that I can't do this. I told my DH, "It's like telling an alcoholic, 'I know you can't handle alcohol, but you'll have to drink it every day of your life and it's up to you to make sure that you drink only this certain type of alcohol and only in moderation.'"
    It seems almost impossible!
