Before And After 15 Weeks Out And Down 64 Lbs! :)
WoW! You look great!

Ok, So A Stall? Best Way To Get Through It Fast?
I really shouldn't complain, I am almost 6 weeks and am at 46 pounds down. I started at 314. I have been at 268 for a week...actually, over the weekend I was up to 270! Do I just keep doing what I am doing that got the loss I have so far? Or do I change things up? As silly as it sounds, the weight went up when I started to go down and formally exercise! I also feel tenderness near my lower left incision which isn't unexpected I guess, but I haven't gone down to exercise again since. I didn't feel any pain at all during, I did treadmill and then the circuit of resistance machines. I really want to be at 250 for labor day...I know it's a random goal, but it would be so awesome that I am still hoping for it

Weighing In? Your Thoughts?
I have a couple of friends that heard and follow this advice, weigh everyday, but take the average loss for the week. Personally, I have been weighing almost everyday. It is a kick to see it going down! But I am a little over a month post op, so I am still seeing drops almost every day!

12 Days Out, Feeling Down But No Good Reason
I don't know why I am feeling down, but I am! I am down 30 pounds almost...you know the scale, a pound or so up or down, I am healed up and feeling fine. I can't drink anything unless it is super cold and I am starting to learn that the pre op diet isn't the same as the post op diet...yogurt, pudding, cottage cheese, bullion or cream soups, are not really working for me. I hate cooking for my husband, I don't want to go to the grocery store, it's just miserable. I want to get rid of my school clothes ( I am a teacher ) but still not 100% convinced it's going to work. I feel like any day now I will stop losing weight. Anyone have any advice? Oh, and it's great that I lost 30 pounds, but I think even if I lose 60, I will still be 250 pounds when I go back to work in September....still fat....

Tell Me About Exercise Post Op
Going in on Wednesday to have surgery, haven't lost a lot on pre-op diet, but haven't exercised either. What, when, etc. should I plan after surgery to be successful?

Pre-Op Diet Question
I am on the 2 week liquid diet, but nobody ever said how much I could have! Is there a limit? Or just what I want? I know I need my 60 grams of protein and they said the limit on sugar and fat, but, can I drink all the bullion I want? All the sugar free pudding? That sugar free pudding is good! I could eat a lot of that!

What's The Deal On Hunger?
I am confused about when people say they are hungry after surgery.....when I am hungry, my stomach growls and hurts some. There is a nawwing feeling in m stomach. That is what I mean when I say hungry. But then people say they are hungry after surgery and then there is talk about head hunger. I really made my decision to have the surgery because I was told I wouldn't be hungry anymore. So, this growling, grumbling stomach pain that I call hunger, will it be gone after surgery?

Pre-Op Teach
Had my 3 hour pre-op teach today. Didn't learn a lot of new stuff, they went over what to expect for the hospital stay. Then the pre-op diet. 2 weeks of high Protein, low sugar, low fat liquids. People were pretty happy when they said yogurt and pudding count as liquid I need to get some unflavored unjury to mix in. They were really good at trying to make cheap suggestions. Talked about Vitamins and the Bariatric fusion ones that they see seemed the best deal at $24 for a month supply. I met with the doctor for a few minutes, he asked if I had questions and I asked how much weight I could lose before school started again after labor day. He said 50-60 pounds! So I am pretty happy with that! I hope so! Oh, I stopped at a goodwill before since I had time and I am so looking forward to going shopping for new stuff when I need it at goodwill and thrift stores! They had lots of decent stuff.

Cooling Off!
I'll be watching this thread! I am so hot now, and sweat all the time! It's miserable in the summer. That is a huge motivating factor to me, to not sweat like crazy will be awesome when I lose weight! oops! I saw the post along the side of the page and didn't realize it was in the "man room"
