  1. I was banded on May 15th and I've NEVER been late, but here it is June 6th, 18lbs lighter no restriction and I'm still waiting!!!!
  2. My fitness pal said I'm only consuming 880 calories a day and that's not enough. But I'm not hungry and don't want to over do it. I had my surgery on May 15th and ny first fill isn't until June 14th. HELP!!!!
  3. Soft foods are excellent, but I'm still getting hungry every 3-4 hours and occasionally I feel this burning cramp where the largest incision is.
  4. I'm now 2weeks plus 2 days post op and I'm back at work. I've lost 16.5lbs as of this morning(no fill yet). Everyone has been telling me how much smaller I am. I haven't been this weight since 2004. My doc has me on a soft diet, but those protein shakes are starting to make me gag. I can't wait until I get home so I can sleep. 12 hour shifts are a lot after surgery.

  6. 2 weeks ago today I had surgery. I've only lost 16lbs and 12lbs of that was pre-op. My band is empty, 1st fill is June 14th. I'm on soft foods now. I try to eat 4ozs every 3 hours. And I will say I get HUNGRY, but I don't eat to full feel I eat as if I have restrictions. I try to have 60 grams of protein with them nasty shakes. I was a little upset because I only lost 4lbs in 2 weeks but my doc said that was good for someone with no restrictions. I wish I could get my pre-surgery energy back.
  7. Well I'm 11days post-op and 16lbs down. My waist is smaller which make my hips and booty look just right as per my husband. I think when I'm at my goal weight,I'll buy a pole for my bedroom so my husband can make it rain while I make it clap,LOL!
  8. Ok I'm going crazy. I was banded on May 15th and haven't had sex since May 12th and my husband says that I need to get an okay from the doctor, but that was one of the questions I didn't ask and am to embarrass to asked. Help???***
  9. I was banded on May 15, and the full liquid diet wasn't working for me. My doc gave me the ok to start soft foods because I was getting hungry every 2 hours. And I'm sick of those protein shakes they make me gag. My appointment is on Friday, but I'm pretty sure I'm not getting a fill until next month
  10. Me too, I'm 1 week pos-op. My doctor put me on soft foods because I was getting hungry every 3 hours and my stomach was growling really LOUD. I do notice my back hurts when I finish eating. My doctor told me that pain above your rib cage means you have enough to eat.
  11. I mean what a difference today, I'm almost back to being me and my surgeon said that I can eat 1 meal of soft foods a day, since I'm hungry every 3 hours but 3 oz only!!!
  12. Well last night I was able to tilt on my left side while sleeping pain free. I've been sleeping on my right side since surgery and my right hip has been killing me. No more GAS!!!!! And now I'm waiting for my doctor's office to open so we can talk about my diet since everyone on my surgical team have different views. Be blessed bandsters:)
  13. Are you serious?? Ice cream??
  14. I'm not eating high calorie foods, it's low fat yogurt and chicken broth
  15. I looked for your post can't find it
  16. When did you start solids? ****DIVALICIOUS****
  17. Yes, I get 69 grams of protein with my shakes and another 18 from yogurt. My doc said 2 days clears, 2 days liquids and then soft, the nutritionist said the same thing. And when I look at how much I'm eating the size of a small jar of baby food maybe it's not enough ****DIVALICIOUS****
  18. Well everyone said something different , I started off on clears then full and now soft. But am I suppose to be getting hungry every 2-3 hours ****DIVALICIOUS****
  19. I'm post-op five days and I'm eating every 2-3 hours, the food is about the size of the smallest jar of baby food. Is the correct. It's yogurt,Soup or something soft. ****DIVALICIOUS****
  20. It's been 5 days since my surgery and I can't understand why I wake up with a sore throat every morning. It gets better as the day goes on, but I don't understand why and it hurts when I swallow. ****DIVALICIOUS****
  21. My surgeon said 2 days clear, 2 days full then soft. I don't have any problems with food going down because I'm only eating about as much food you can fit into a small jar of baby food ****DIVALICIOUS****
  22. I'm doing okay, just not sure what or how much I'm suppose to eat. I think I've walked the gas out. I was finally able to go to the bathroom, haven't been since Monday. Just wish I could have more energy. ****DIVALICIOUS****
