Sore Throat???

It's been 5 days since my surgery and I can't understand why I wake up with a sore throat every morning. It gets better as the day goes on, but I don't understand why and it hurts when I swallow.

I'm only 2 days but my Dr told me it would be really sore due to the tube they put down met. He told me to use the spray it is helping but I too have woken up with a sore throat. Let me know how it goes for you too
