  1. Here's a link to the soft food stage page on my blog. There's also one for solid food when you get there! http://gastricsleeve4me.blogspot.com/p/soft-food-stage.html
  2. I've started a page on my blog that consolidates all my fave recipes. Maybe worth a skim to see if anything catches your eye? Almost all of the recipes have pics and nutritional info if you're curious. http://gastricsleeve4me.blogspot.com/p/solid-food-stage.html
  3. Turkey chili! 1/2 package ground turkey, browned. Can of diced tomatoes (or I'll do a half + half can of beef broth), can of pinto Beans, can of kidney or black beans, crap load of chili pepper, ton of minced garlic. An hour before it's done add a can of no fat refried beans...my secret ingredient for thickening. For something to add on top mix 3-4 TBSP of greek yogurt with 1 TBSP mayo + taco seasoning. Chill and use as a topping on chili. I made a pot yesterday and had for dinner tonight!
  4. Just ordered parmesean crisps from amazon...will let you know how they are! http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004L1FYUA/ref=oh_details_o00_s01_i00
  5. I put a recipe for creamy guacamole made with greek yogurt on my blog. GREAT nutritional stats (also on the blog) and crazy easy. I LOVE AVOCADO. Yummy. http://gastricsleeve4me.blogspot.com/2012/08/creamy-guacamole.html
  6. Combine any of your fave proteins with eggs, a favorite sauce, maybe some cheese, and some seasoning. Put into mini muffin tin and bake for 25-30 mins at 350. Crustless quiches...delish. Example on my blog (and link to eggface recipes for bites as well): http://gastricsleeve4me.blogspot.com/2012/06/buffalo-chicken-and-enchilada-bites.html
  7. Excellent ones! My faves from when I was at that stage are on the soft foods page on my blog if interested: http://gastricsleeve4me.blogspot.com/p/soft-food-stage.html
  8. I'd posted about the flatout bread pizza I'd made a few days ago. I had leftover cheese, pepperoni, and pizza sauce so decided to make pizza bites. Recipe and nutritional info on my blog at http://gastricsleeve4me.blogspot.com/2012/08/pizza-bites.html. Yum!
  9. Thanks, lady! Glad to hear you're feeling better...quite a road.
  10. Happy to...shoot me a private msg or post any questions here.
  11. I get it in NJ at wegman's (grocery store), but I did notice you can buy on amazon. May want to check the flatout website
  12. Flatout light original...best nutritional facts of the choices I could find
  13. I'd posted previously about my love of flatout bread. Last night I cut one in half and made buffalo chicken on one half (wing sauce, canned chicken, cheddar cheese, sprinkling of ranch dressing packet) and sausage/pepp on the other (prego pre made pizza sauce, leftover sausage, turkey pepperoni, and four cheese pizza blend). At 8 weeks I could only eat 1/6 of a flatout...now I can do about a quarter, but am stuffed (e.g., what you see in pic is four meals)
  14. SW 5/21: 250 Challenge start weight: 215 CW: 200.3 GW: 195 (20 lbs) I can do this!!
  15. How are the nutritional stats per gram against the flatout lite? Putting them all side by side I recalled it being best if I used the lite and cut it...but that might have been comparing against the kidz ones. I was surprised by how much the stats varied. Post stats if you have (and include grams of bread)? Thanks!
  16. Three months in. Not a single issue except constipation. Never close to vomiting, get in my water and protein for the most part, and literally nothing my sleeve can't tolerate that I've tried so far (I eat pretty healthy)
  17. Not sure if it makes you feel better, but I LOVED it pre op (not to mention diet coke and beer). and haven't touched anything carbonated post. I'm 10 weeks out and, frankly, haven't missed it.
  18. The cuisinart is on sale at amazon...just bought! $55 instead of $110
  19. Cuisinart ice cream maker on sale at amazon! $60 instead of $110. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0043XYHLS/ref=oh_details_o00_s00_i00
