  1. that is great i cant wait until i am i your shoes congrads to you.
  2. Thank you for your suggestions i greatfully apprectiate the advise.
  3. I thank you both for the information. Yeah need to change that information sorry got the months mixed up.
  4. Well maybe you didnt understand me because like i said i had my surgery on 4/25/2012. I have been following my doctors orders but i find myself really hungry in the mornings. I know i can eat eggs but i just wanted to know can i eat an omlete (veggie). The question not can i stick to the plan because i have been sticking to the plan. Another thing is that my doctor will not tell me anything about nutrition. he wants me to pay a nutritionist $80 everytime i have a question about food items. I really dont think that is fair but hey. But most of my advice come from this website because i refuse to pay $80 everytime i need to speak to the nutritionist. My first visit with the nutritionist was $140. I cant afford paying a nutritionist every other week. So with that being said i really dont have a direct diet that was given to me i am just going with the flow of everything. But i stay within the guidelines with my ounces of food intake.
  5. I really dont have any other problems except for during the mornings. I go to the gym 6x a week and i basically do cardio everyday and weights every other day. is that ok too.
  6. I am battling trying not to over eat. I found it a neccssary for me to eat breakfast. Can i eat a veggie omlete without feeling bad. During the day i am really restricted and i dont really eat. I work in the mornings i have to be up for work at 5:30am but around 7:30am i am starving. I normally drink a protein shake in the morning but i find myself hungry around that time. can someone please help me with this situation. my surgery was on 4/25/12.
  7. Well we both are on the same track. I had my surgery on 5/15/2012. I havent had any pains or vomitting. I stayed on liquids for the first two weeks and i lost 19lbs and i am very happy. I started this week on some solids and it didnt do anything to me either. I watch my portions of food and try my best to count the calories. My doctor office is not that bad but they try to make you pay for the nutritionist which is about $80 per visit i cant afford that. This website has been a blessing for me because this is where i find out when and how i am suppose to began the next step in my life as a lapband patient. So continue your good work.
  8. well i personally havent experienced it but my friend had a bad rash and what they found out that her port came a loose and the liquid in the band started coming out.
  9. that me. I can eat but i set my portion aside and eat only 4oz as told. I know i can manage more but i try to stick to what my dr. told me and not to over eat. i am still on liquids. i guess next week i will be placed on mushi foods.
  10. well dont feel bad i had a slice of pizza last night and i was so angry with myself. Nothing happened i didnt vomit or anything. I am 1 1/2 weeks out of surgery. I was just feeling fainting spells and i just needed something strong to boost me up.
  11. Well that was great i only had to go on 48 hour diet before surgery but anytime before that i was eating any and everything so that i would not be craving for them now. SO maybe if i did that i would have lost the same amount of weight.
  12. well i have a 11cc band and my doctor told me during the surgery he put in 4cc. but i dont have any restrictions. I feel like i can eat and eat. But i dont i do whatever i was told. I havent throw up and i have been able to tolerate all of my liquids.
  13. Well here is my story i didnt receive a period for 2 months i was so mad because i wanted to have the mirena in place before my surgery. I had pregnancy test done several of times and they all came back negative. So i decided to take provera almost three weeks before surgery. after taking provera i still didnt get a period. I had my surgery on 4/25/12 i got my period the next day. I felt like someone gutted me open. my period ended one day after my first doctor visit which was 5/03/12. When i weighed in it showed i lost 8lbs when i know i lost more than that. Could it be that i was bloaded thats why it didnt show as much weight loss.
  14. Wow!!!! I had my surgery on 5/25/12 also and i lost 8lbs. What did yall do to loose over 20lbs. can you give me any suggestions. I am only on clear liquids and protein shakes.
  15. Well i am almost in the same position because i had my surgery on 4/25/12 and i have no restrictions at all. I am able to eat basically what i want but choose not to because i am determined to loose weight. I just havent been back to the nutritionist
