  1. My surgeon does basically the same thing. No fill until 6 weeks after surgery. I do have a feeling that the first 6 weeks are going to be tough.

  4. I personally think it's your doctors. I finished my 6 month physician supervised diet April 16th, met with the surgeon on the 20th and got approved through my insurance co on the 27th. Looking back, the 6 month supervised diet wasn't as bad as I had anticipated. No one gave me trouble about how much weight I was or was not losing. If anything my physician was telling me how pointless it was that it was required to do a 6 month supervised diet. I wish you both luck!
  5. I agree 100%! No giving up now, or ever... only up from here
  6. So very awesome! I hope to one day to be in your shoes! Good luck on the rest of your journey
  7. Goodness, got to love ignorant people! If it were an easy fix wouldn't everyone everywhere be a lot lighter?! As if we choose to stay overweight, as if it isn't a battle every day. I have yet to get my surgery but I have no problem telling people how it is now and after surgery I'm sure it may increase slightly. Good luck to you!
  8. That is so awesome! Ahh, to be 50lbs lighter... I'm excited to say the least
  9. I'm so exicted, anxious, scared, happy and everything in between. The 6 month physician supervised diet was probably the longest 6 months of my life. I'm in the early stages of my surgery process but I'm hoping to have it done within the next month! I'm ready to start this new chapter Ashley
