I Hate To Ask This But...
Can you try a stool softener or some milk of magnesia? Also there is this tea called smooth move that really does the trick!

Were You Practicing???
If I'm being honest, I haven't done a thing (yet). I feel I've been eating like a crazy person lately. But I am determined to get it together and do liquid diet before surgery. I think you'll be ok.

What To Do W/ My Pets?
Hi everyone! I have a dog and 2 cats. My surgery is in 2 weeks. Someone on this board suggested I might want to board my dog (she's 8 months old and very rambunctious). So, I agree I will board the dog for a few days while I recover. Cats should be fine, right? They're pretty independent unless they want to cuddle. Should I have my dad take my cats for a few days while I recover or keep them with me?

Lap Band With Gastric Plication
Ok so to those who've had the surgery, is the weight loss in the beginning faster (than with just the band alone)? What's been your experience in the first month or 2 after surgery? I need something to look forward to and set some goals for myself. (my surgery is in 2 weeks)

Uuuggghhhh Time Is Sooo Slow!!!
My doc was so busy, I had to wait 6 weeks for my first appointment. It felt like 6 years. Now here I am ready to have surgery before end of month!

Uuuggghhhh Time Is Sooo Slow!!!
I feel same way. I have 2.5 weeks to go and it can't come soon enough. In fact, I find myself eating MORE lately...a lot of 'final' meals (I know that's not good!)

My Process Couldn't Have Been Easier...really.
- Mini Goals?
Is losing 10 pounds per month a good goal for those with banded plication? I'm still not sure about the rate of weight loss. I know it's faster in the beginning with the plication. Anywho... I want to set up some goals--- I'm being banded with plication May 30. I have my birthday in July and a 10K race in September. I'd love to be at least 40 pounds down by the race but I just don't know what's realistic. Thanks for listening!!- For the singles here... Just do this..
