The 3 Week Stall
I went 3 and a half weeks with no movement. Yes it is disheartening, but just know it will move. Mine stalled at 229. When it did start moving, it moved pretty fast. Five pounds a week. Just keep on what you are doing. Get your water in. It will move. There's no way for it not to if you are making the right choices.

Any Danger From Staples Popping Out?
The staples look good actually Patrick. Just take it easy. If they hurt is the only time I would worry. Since they are coming out tuesday, it also wouldn't hurt if one did come out.. It wouldn't like bust open is what I mean. And that's right... 13" could be some heavy lifting lol. Sorry, I had remembered that from a prior post.

Pre Op Magnesium Citrate 4 Hours Ago, Nothing Happening
It could happen in 15 minutes or 15 hours.. Just stick close to a toilet. When it comes, it's not going to give you lots of warning... LOL. And it is the nastiest stuff ever.

How Often Do You Have A Bm?
This is normal. And may be normal. I use miralax. And when I think I really have to go, MOM (milk of magnesia). This is what doc said to use.

Lets Talk Hairloss
Some say it is from the anesthesia. Some think lack of certain nutrients, and of course the protein. We are supposed to get 60-80 grams of protein a day. Most get that amount. And of course we are all told to take a small meal's worth of vitamins.

Lets Talk Hairloss
Hair loss... It is inevitable. Most of us will have it. Some very little. Some, it may be about half the amount of hair they have currently. But know this, it is temporary. It will grow back. Some say biotin may help it. I currently take it and use Nioxin. The Nioxin is a shampoo that makes your hair look thicker and may promote faster growth. You will notice the thinning more than anyone. It starts around 3 months and should stop around 6-9 months. From what I am told, it grows back the way it was. It's a small price for me, but this happens with most surgeries. Good luck.

Breast, Boobs, Bubbies, Chest-L, Tits!
I've always been a big girl... So what if you don't know what size you were lol. Started puberty and gained boob and weight over night. Was a D in 5th grade. Was a nice 40DD before surgery. Now they look sad... And I think they are D's. Saving to fix them though lol

Weightloss Expectations
To be completely honest, there really is not telling. Each person is different with losing. Just like men lose faster than women. It also depends how much you have to lose. Just know at first is always the fastest.

Hypoglycemia
The gas (both up and down) is completely normal. Also, the weird gurgles and squeaks too. It will all start calming down about a week out.

Surgey In 5 Days :-0
First, take a breath. I don't think there is one single person on this board that can honestly say that they didn't feel this way. Lord knows I did. But the morning of surgery, I had a calmness that came over me. I knew I was doing the right thing. You are smart to question it. But I can honestly tell you it is the best thing I have ever done for myself. This surgery is very safe. You will make it just fine. Just keep a positive attitude and you will be great.

Relationship Help
First off, congrats on the little one on the way. It's life changing. Also, another big congrats on the weight loss. It's amazing. Those 2 things alone will mess with any stable relationship. ESPECIALLY one that is in the first year. Of course she's feeling left behind and a little jealous. You have lost so much weight, and she's going to be gaining. It's a hard moment when you hit a big stall in your relationship. But nothing worth having comes easy. I think, IMO, that the best thing would be to either sit calmly with her, explaining your feelings and fears, and ask her to do the same. Sometimes, all it take it putting it out there. Now, how you bring it up makes a huge difference. Don't just go to, what is wrong with you lately. This will make anyone mad. Just plainly state that lately you've noticed some changes, (state them) and that you would like to know if there's anything you can do to help. And it's ok to like outside compliments. Just realize that she was there literally through thick and thin.

Labor Day Challenge 2012
- Labor Day Challenge 2012
Count me in. Starting weight: 213 Goal weight: 198 That will put me in onederland for the first time in like 18 years. Also, I want to get my Water in everyday. I just forget about drinking. Good luck guys- How Soon After Surgery Can I Resume Competitive Eating Contests?
That's one thing that I've noticed as well. Watching people eat, even normally, is disgusting. All the fat and carbs... And the amount alone.- Loose Sking Before Surgery
Some companies do cover the lower skin removal if it's deemed "medically necessary". It can cause pain and rashes and other problems. Check, yours just may- July 4Th Challenge
Well I weighed this morning... And I made it! 213. Onederland, here I come. Good luck guys :-)- July 4Th Challenge
Yay Patrick! An early welcome to the club. :-)- Stand Still & No Loss
Everyone is different with weight loss. I learned early not to compare myself to others. There are lots of factors. The pre op diet, amount of weight they have to lose, when their foods change. I went into a 3 week stall when I was allowed to actually eat...(I was a liquids for 5 weeks. One week clear, 4 weeks full). I'm 10 weeks out Thursday and down 42 pounds. Yes there are some who are down 60 plus, but this is my journey. I'm enjoying it in my own way. Down from a 22 to a loose 16... So happy. Enjoy it. You learn a lot about yourself- What Did You Eat For The First Week After Surgery?
Eat? You are supposed to eat the first week... lol. Clear liquids. Jello, tea, water, crystal light, broth. All room temp or warmer. But I don't know what your dr said you were allowed. Cold didn't go down well.- Stand Still & No Loss
You've lost 18 pounds in 2 weeks? That's incredible. Have you ever lost 18 pounds in 2 weeks before,,, Think about that. That being said, almost every person is going to have a stall. I don't know what step of the post op diet you are on, but my only thing is to drink drink drink, and get your protein in. As long as you take care of those two things, weight will move again.- 2 Months Before And After
Just fantastic. And that's just in 2 months. Imagine how wonderful you'll look in 2 more months. I'm so excited for you :-)- How Soon
I was told at 6 weeks I could add salad. Chew chew chew and just a little salad. Mostly protein - Labor Day Challenge 2012
