My Husband Is Scared

I was wondering if anyone could tell me how I can calm my husband from being so upset. He went through the whole leak ordeal with me now he's coping with the fact I have a stricture. He knows a lady (unrelated to sleeve surgery) that passed away due to a stricture in her esophagus and had to have it stretched. She had complications and bled to death so he's really worried and kinda has me more scared than I was. What can I say to him to rest his mind? I'm really stressing out over all this. I've really tried to keep from posting yet another negative story of my trials but I don't have anyone to turn to.

  • I wish I had words for you to give him. I don't, but you are STILL in my prayers. Perhaps letting him know that people all over the world are praying for you will ease his mind somewhat?

I just promised mine I'd listen to what my body was saying. That the moment I thought something was really wrong, I'd go to the hospital. He's a worrier anyways, so he really wasn't ok until my 6th week was over and he knew I'd live lol

Iqm sorry you guys are going through this. Maybe have your Doctor talk to him. Tell your Dr. his concerns and ask if he can talk to your husband. Praying for you.

Thinking of you and your family stay strong! I agree have your Dr. Speak with hi and soon
