  1. I meant 5 ft 3 inches.. I am on my phone! Ugh. Michelle xo
  2. Okay so at my heaviest I was measured height, weight, hips etc.... I was 5ft 2in. I was measured the same exact way recently, I am 5ft 1in barely. I say 5,1! My shoes don't fit, went from an 8.5 to a 7 or 7.5 depending on the shoe. Had anyone else experienced this? Michelle xo
  3. I am 34 years old and everyone says how much healthier my skin looks (glowing, without breakouts which I used to get alot of because of the type of food I was eating) and my hair is shiny and I recently took my oldest daughter who is 18 now to an appointment and the older receptionist asked her why her older sister filled out her papers... She had to say... Thats my mother! so I would say YOUNGER! I do use face creams though and moisturize daily with one that has sunscreen. Michelle xo
  4. I am down 40 pounds and roughly 8 weeks out. I am losing from the top down. I am down a few chins and hey.... I have a neck! Lol. Seriously though, be patient. You will start to lose inches fast as soon as your body adjusts. You, like myself, were probably wearing the wrong size clothes and they are just loosening up now. Be patient! Great job so far!!!!! Congrats! Michelle xo
  5. Thank you Benjamin and Mr Worm for the advice. I bought lemon ginger and peppermint! Belly is calming some. I know there is a stomach flu going around here and I do not want it because I am afraid I will end up in the hospital dehydrated. Ugh. I wish sick people would call out SICK when they are instead of coming to work and giving it to everyone else, then calling out sick to hit the beach! Now I am just venting....sorry! Michelle xo
  6. I am not big into teas and coffees but I will be trying the ginger teas. Michelle xo
  7. I have my first real belly ache and I would in the past pre surgery love ginger ale to calm it, now I don't know what to do..... :-( Michelle xo
  8. I have my first real belly ache and I would in the past pre surgery love ginger ale to calm it, now I don't know what to do..... :-( Michelle xo
  9. My longest stall is when I started solid food. I had a few day stalls after 2 weeks or so out but I have been in this stall for about 2 to 3 weeks. My surg told me not to stress, I am finally starting to lose a few pounds now. Stick with it!, Michelle xo
  10. I can not find it in meetup. Michelle xo
  11. I am 8 weeks out....cleared for p90, I will be starting that tomorrow and contemplating joining a gym Michelle xo
  12. I put the chicken in a crock pot with a packet of taco season and mango salsa!!!! yummy
  13. I started putting aside my lunch for the next day before putting it out for dinner. My family is the same way, oh mom isn't going to eat it.... Ugh
  14. Saw the surgeon for my 7 week follow up.....cleared for salad and a glass of vino!
  15. I have also hit my 6 week stall! Getting frustrated! I was sleeved 4/11 and down 35 pounds.... Haven't lost anything in a week! Ugh
  16. I too am a ” staller” and a ” slow loser” but like my doctor said, being a slow loser can be good for your skin, less chance of alot of excess loose skin because we are working out alot and it still has elasticity. When you loose really fast, your skin doesn't have the chance to bounce back so to speak causing more of a chance of loose skin. This to shall pass. I don't trick my body, I keep doing what I need to and eventually my body responds with weight loss. I feel great after I exercise.... I actually missed my walk today because I was busy running around with my daughter for her prom tonight and I feel really bummed about it. I never felt this way before about exercise but I like it. I don't look at it as a chore, I look at it as something I can control during my stalls. I know ... I am nuts! But it works for me. I am soon to be 6 weeks out and down 30 pounds. I do know I lost alot of inches because I went from a 22/24 to a 14 jeans. Keep your head up!!!! You are all doing great and I am always logging on because this a positive forum and great motivation!
  17. I noticed this yesterday at work. I would usually go quite a few times but since this surgery, I went to the bathroom 2 times to pee in 10 hours. Lol. I go if I go in there but I don't have the urge to go anymore....glad I am not alone! Lol
  18. I eat healthy choice our lean cuisine meals, our if the meat of soft and but fried I will eat that. Can't wait to eat a salad
  19. Yes Marnie. I do. I let everyone at work and friends and family know I had this surgery. I am not ashamed of it. I needed help, a tool, to help me be healthy. What I was ashamed of was being morbidly obese. I of course get looks about what is on my plate but don't care because those who judge don't matter and those who matter don't judge. I have had nothing but great response and some concern over whether it was enough nutrients. I explain about my protein intake and they get it. I wish you the best and remember you are doing this for you and thats all that matters.
  20. My doctor told me I can eat crackers at 3 weeks out.
  21. Thanks! Going into my 5th week. I use the EAS shakes because I could get them down, powder stuff I can't even smell or I dry heave...so weird. Guess I will try another brand and try getting more through food. Thanks!
  22. It made me so sick today! I had to take 2 imodium!!! Why all of a sudden? Anyone have this problem before?
