My Bladder Signal Seems Gone

For the past two days I have been drinking at least 64 ounces and I don't have to pee. If I sit on the toilet I will go but I only go to the toilet because I realize I haven't all day .......what's the problem? 14days post op

That's so weird! I've been noticing the same thing. I have always had, I guess, a large bladder but now I'm drinking 5 times as much fluid as I used to. I don't know why I never get the urge to go. I plan on asking my doc at my next appt.

That is SO what I was thinking 1 hour ago after I had to remind myself lol. I have been sipping from hour 1 of waking until now and it's not adding up. Follow up appointment is on Wednesday, I will ask the doc and try to remember to post back here! :)

Just my experience, but for a couple months post-op I either felt like I couldn't pee unless I sat there a long time and pushed, or I didn't have to go all day. Part of it was due to the anesthesia, which took quite a while to work it's way out of my body, and part was my body holding on to water to facilitate fat metabolism. Weird.

I had the same exact thing. I just timed myself every 4 hours. Im almost 4 weeks out and im slightly getting the feeling back. Its the weirdest thing

I noticed this yesterday at work. I would usually go quite a few times but since this surgery, I went to the bathroom 2 times to pee in 10 hours. Lol. I go if I go in there but I don't have the urge to go anymore....glad I am not alone! Lol
