  1. Yea he said I'm on track but you know how it goes. We always want more. I need to exercise patience as well as my body. I'm glad I'm not the only short person here. Lol
  2. My doctor told me that if I get too much protein, my body will convert it to carbs and will use it for energy and burning as opposed to my body fat. I don't want that for me. I'm 4'9 so I'm sticking to the 60-80g recommended by my doc.
  3. Thanks for posting this. I have pcos and the trouble I am having is the weight actually coming off. I will be one month post op on Tuesday and am only down 18lbs but keep bouncing 2lbs back and forth. The weight just won't come off no matter how much I work out or follow the diet (which I'm doing both religiously). It's very frustrating and I wonder if the scale will ever move and if I will ever lose this weight. I get very discouraged.
  4. I need snack ideas that are non protein, non dairy and low carb. I hit my protein limit by my dinner but if I want a snack later, I need suggestions mon what I can have that fit the above guidelines. Any suggestions?
  5. I can't have any more protein shakes though after my last meal. I reach my protein limit by then. I need some snack ideas that are non protein, non dairy and low carb.
  6. I can't eat the dairy because it slows my weight loss down but I love clementines. I've stayed away from dairy and I try to keep my carbs below 25-30. I do snack on the babybel cheese as well. Yum
  7. Yes you are worth it and glad that you realized it. Good luck on your journey. It is a big decision but one that I do not regret making. You will love the end results.
  8. What time do you all eat your last meal or snack of the day? What do you eat if you get hungry around 9pm?
  9. Oh I add green diced chillis to it as well and the Medium rotel for a but of a zing.
  10. Yours sounds good. I use everything but the ranch style beans and black beans and sausage. I'm gonna try your recipe. I also just use the chilli powder and cumen.
  11. Wendy's chilli is awesome. It's soft and goes down easy and is low in calories and high in protein.
  12. Me too. I put it in my crockpot in the morning and mmmmmmm
  13. I actually like the chicken soup flavor. Lol. I mix it with warm water and drink it.
  14. A small cup is the perfect size for lunch and snack or dinner. It goes down so easily and it's low in calories, carbs and high in protein. It was a nice change of pace for once. I wouldn't suggest eating it daily but once in a blue moon is a wonderful treat.
  15. Put your child in a stroller and walk or put some music on and dance. What 2 year old doesn't like to act crazy and dance. That's all Zumba is. Plus it will tire him out and then you can both take naps. Lol my little ones love music and dancing around.
  16. I have a one year old and 2 year old. I just put them in the stroller and walk. It gives your arms a nice workout too. Also, my 2 year old likes to dance so I put music on and dance and she joins in.
  17. Never in my life have I LOVED hearing someone call me a "loser" as much as I do right now. We all rock ladies and gentleman. Remember that.

Btw extra large eggs have 7g of protein and was told all the protein is in the whites.
