  1. It does feel great. I can't wait until I'm down a lot more.
  2. Saw a friend today that I haven't seen since before my surgery and when she saw me, she was excited because she could see my weight loss a lot she said. It made me smile from ear to eat. I'm down 22lbs. Tomorrow I will be one month out.
  3. Tonight's dinner is tilapia and zucchini. Can't wait.
  4. Yesterday all I had was chicken and veggies, a teaspoon of peanut butter, an egg and a protein shake. I felt energetic yesterday. Not so much today but have been on the go since 7:30am and only had a third of a protein shake. I'm very sleepy today.
  5. Ok thank you. I do exercise. Lol
  6. But I keep hearing people say that they burn more than they take in to lose weight so that's my confusion.
  7. I guess I'm just not understanding. So if my caloric intake a day is say 600 calories and I burn 300 of those doing exercise, I may still not lose weight? Should I exercise more then?

I use Mitchum for ladies. It advertises that's it's so strong you can miss a day and they are right. Lol. I love it.
  9. I'm watching Cake Boss and my mouth is watering. Lolol I would never sabotage my journey but daaaaaaaaaaaaang these cakes look amazing.
  10. I was told by my surgeon that unless we have the bypass surgery and unless our b12 levels are low, we would not need the b12 injections or pills. I am not prescribed anything but a multivitamin and nexium.
  11. Fish, eggs, refried beans, oatmeal, mashed potatoes (though I avoid cuz of the carbs), avocado, lean, thin deli turkey, to name a few. All this gets old too Lolol.
  12. You all are not alone. I'll be a month out on Tuesday. I'm down 20lbs and several inches. I didn't measure til today but I see it in my clothes. I just don't see a huge difference in me and people don't either. I've had some of the same rude comments about when am I supposed to start losing. It's a slow process and im currently in a stall and about to start my period but I keep trying to tell myself that by doing this slowly, maybe I won't sag as much. At least I'm hoping. I'm ready to see a difference now though
  13. I'm still down for trying it out and omg, LOVE raw oysters. Lol. I eat 6 small meals a day so I'm cool. Just in my 3 week stall at the moment and trying to break it
  14. I can also say that by doing this, I feel tired at night but I'm hungry every 2 hours it seems. I can only eat an ounce at a time
  15. I'll do it. I pretty much do it now with the exception of cheese. All I eat is proteins and veggies and an occasional bite of fresh fruit. I won't eat my meat raw though. Lol it has to be cooked.
  16. I went to the doc for me 3 week check up and he told me I had to wait 1 more week to swim. As long as all your incisions are healed with no scabs or openings, you should be ok
  17. I'll have to try that cuz it just gets stuck lol. Ty
  18. I have a hard time swallowing lunch meat. Lol I've tried with a little mustard and it sticks in my throat. Do you eat it with anything to make it more moist?
  19. This was informative. Thank you
  20. My doc told me to eat 6 small meals a day to help keep my metabolism up. So snacking doesn't mean eat chips etc. I mean healthy foods that could be considered a small meal. My nut gave us a book saying 3 small meals a day and no snacking in between but my doc says differently.
  21. You could also ask your doctor for samples.
