Thank you. You will get there. The protein shake I drink has 60g of protein a shake. Amplified wheybolic extreme 60- Had My 3 Week Post Op Appointment
Miturner, it's a struggle sometimes but my day starts at 7am and ends between 10-11pm. What I eat has high proteins so I don't have to eat a lot to get my daily dose. I weigh everything out too and most times I don't finish it.- Had My 3 Week Post Op Appointment
I should say that I count my protein shake as liquids cuz I make it with water- Had My 3 Week Post Op Appointment
I'm getting about 800 calories in. I use the amplified wheybolic extreme 60 protein from GNC. I wake up and have a shake. It takes me about an hour to drink one, sometimes a little longer. After that, I drink a bottle of water. For lunch I'll have about 2oz of Tyson chicken in water or I'll make a few egg whites. I drink another bottle of water. Snack I'll have a babel cheese, more water or propel, dinner I'll have about 2ozmof tilapia and about a teaspoon of avocado. More water or propel. Snack another piece of cheese. I drink water til I go to bed. I also go to the gym every morning at 9:30 and walk about 2 miles every evening. Sometimes I drink another protein shake if I am hungry in the evenings but that is rare.- Had My 3 Week Post Op Appointment
Thank you. Neither have I. He just said if I have too much, it will turn to carbs and my body will burn those as energy instead of my body fat. I plan to listen. He also wants me to eat all the time, every 3 or 4 hours to keep my metabolism up but said if I want to take a bite of protein every hour to go for it just make sure I stay between 60-80g- MyFitnessPal.com Members
Rodswife12 is my name on there. Add me folks please.- Had My 3 Week Post Op Appointment
Had my 3 week post op appointment today. 18lbs gone forever. my doc said I'm right on track and doing great. He cleared me for all exercise except swimming. I have to wait one more week for that. He was pleased with my progress. He did say I needed to cut my protein down because I'm getting in between 80-100g a day. He said my body can start turning it into carbs. He wants me to stay between 60-80g. I'm pleased.- Avocados?
I mash mine with a little pico de gallo and lemon juice. So good and refreshing.- Anything Other Then Water
Propel zero. It'd so refreshing.- How Much Can You Eat?
Today I had about 2oz of tilapia and a teaspoon of avocado and felt so full by the time I was done. It was a terrible feeling.- Missrepresentation
I'm a bobble head because now that my body is losing all this weight, my head can't support my super intelligent, large brain- Hungry A Week And A Half Out
It happens to me and I am constantly taking bites of protein. I sometimes eat an egg white every hour just depends on the day. I try to eat 6 small meals. I'm 3 weeks out but I'm always taking a bite of protein here and there. It's not gonna hurt you.- Spouses During The Hospital Stay
My husband was there during my surgery and when they brought me to my room but went home once I was settled. There was no point in him being there. I just wanted to rest at first and not be bothered by tv noise and talking.- Metformin
I was sleeved on April 2nd and I am having a very hard time getting the weight to come off. I know it has only been 3 weeks but still, I have only lost 17lbs and the scale keeps going up. I have pcos and I retain water. My dad (who is a doctor), told me to ask my surgeon about getting on metformin to help get this weight loss started. So I would say, go for it, It wont hurt you and can only benefit you.- Discouraged! :(
Two that is a bit of encouragement for me to hear.- Discouraged! :(
I just got done talking to my dad about it. He's a doctor. He told me to ask my surgeon about putting me on a water pill every other day or so or metformin. Metformin he said is a good choice for people like us who have pcos. I feel you on the dieting alone. I'm not giving up.- Discouraged! :(
Trumpet, I am too. My scale keeps going up instead of down. I'm retaining water, I have pcos and the weight just will not come down. I'm very discouraged myself.- Wtf Surgery Four Weeks Ago And Lost Absolutley Nothing Since Discharge
I'm almost 3 weeks out. Lost 17 and now the scale says I gained 4 back. Not sure how that is even possible being that I'm following the doctors orders. I'm very discouraged myself and feel like a failure.- Yeaaaa I Can Feel The Reatriction
Restriction. Dang auto correct- Yeaaaa I Can Feel The Reatriction
That's all I wanted to say lolol- Stall Or Plateau Worries?
No you're not looking at it wrong. It makes a lot of sense. But you have people like myself who want to see quick results because I read about people losing quickly and have friends that lost quickly and I want that to be me. So im obsessive. I want so badly to not fail and it's very psychological to me. I wish I could be patient but I'm not Lolol. It's something I need to work on. - Had My 3 Week Post Op Appointment
