When Can I Go Swimming? Almost 4 Weeks Post Op

It's supposed to hit 92' today and it's ALREADY warm. I would LOVE to get out the house and hit the pool but I am only almost 4 weeks out and not sure if it is a good idea?

I still have a few scabs ...so I think I'll wait...until next week. Thanks for the info!

As soon as your incisions are closed. My doctor released me and I started back in the water at two weeks which I think was too soon and I had a small infection. I would think at four to six weeks you should be good.

I went to the doc for me 3 week check up and he told me I had to wait 1 more week to swim. As long as all your incisions are healed with no scabs or openings, you should be ok

My doc just gave me clearance to swim and I'm at six weeks. Check with your doc and see what he/she says.
