Exercise Without The Gym

Have to give up my gym membership. I need tips for exercise at home. Keep in mind I have a 2 year old.

ZUMBA.. LOVE IT.. DONT FEEL AS IF YOU ARE WORKING OUT.. I PLAY IT ON THE WII AND I HAVE THE FIRST SET OF CDS..

Hi, first to say Dr. Kim was my surgeon also... great guy, beautiful hospital. I use George Foremand and Leslie Sansone tapes. I bought them of off ebay, reasonable price. I also canoe, hike, and ride my bike. They have all benefit me in my exercise program. Good Luck

I have a one year old and 2 year old. I just put them in the stroller and walk. It gives your arms a nice workout too. Also, my 2 year old likes to dance so I put music on and dance and she joins in.

Thanks for the info! I was able to walk 3 miles before my little guy woke up this morning. For some reason he doesn't like it when we dance with the Wii. I think I'm going to get a few fitness games do do while he is sleeping.

I second riding the bike - I would imagine that most toddlers would enjoy the back seats that can be mounted on bikes, maybe even the little trailers they have now.

Also some free weights placed on the counter and used after every meal help. I have a 20# dumbbell right next to my chair (probably a bit big for you) and use it after each meal. 30 reps each arm. Maybe some arm / leg weight would enhance your regular daily routine.
