  2. How far out are you?? Glad to hear the stall had broken!! I think I would flip my wig if I had a stall that long....yikes!
  3. I start mushies on thursday, and I just bought a can of chili with out beans to put in the blender! Hope I can have it!! lol On my list from the Dr/hospital, scrambled eggs are fine. Along with pureed fish, chicken, turkey, veggies and fruit without the skin. Good luck!!
  4. I just made home brewed decaf iced tea. can I use like Splenda, or Stevia to sweeten?
  5. Wow! Thank you everyone!! I was just sleeved a week and a half ago, and i get full rather fast! I do like the Isopure. Guess I will stick to those!
  6. Looking for high protein shots. Not sure what bougie size my Dr used, but my sleeve is very tight, and i'm having trouble getting in 8oz. of anything. I have my first follow up with him tomorrow. Any suggestions??

  8. Good luck tomorrow Glen! Leesakake, glad to hear you are doing well!
  9. I cheated on my pre-op also. A week before my surgery, I had TWO heaping full servings of lasagna!!! A few days later, I had a 3 cheese cheese burger with onion rings. Perfect example of emotional eating...because i was SO nervous for the surgery. But low and behold, the day of surgery, I was down another 3 pounds!! Who new??
  10. I would head to the ED, so they can check you out. If it's nothing, than it's nothing. Better safe than sorry...
  11. Good luck and God bless those of you going in tomorrow! Just remember, you will be just fine when the propofol hits you!!!! (just a little humor)!
  12. I ordered a whole bunch of different brands/flavors, and did not drink them until after surgery (last monday), due to the fact that people say your taste buds change. So far mine have not, and I like almost all of them. The Unjury strawberry sorbet was so gross.....good luck!
  13. Knee, the glass is a good idea! I'm so sick of drinking out of my shaker, and glass/plastic bottles!! Thanks!
  14. Make sure you have someone to fill your scripts. Keep a basin, with tissues next to your bed, and your liquid tylenol. (if you need to take it, water it down...) I needed some for a headache when I got home, tookit, and threw it RIGHT back up!! Also, maybe some wipes for the bathroom...everyone is different, but just sayin'....lol! When I tooted, I needed to be on the toilet! Good luck
  15. I was sleeved one week ago today. My Dr did'nt want me up and walking on the same day. I had a pain pump, so I really stayed ahead of any pain. (if I did, the dilauded fixed it, because there really was'nt ANY). You will get cotten mouth, so I was able to use the sponge on a stick to clean my mouth. I was also able to "swish and spit" to help with being thirsty. As for gas....didnt really have any of that either. I did have a slight fever, and low blood pressure; easily fixed. The only issues I had were water retention from head to toe. That came off as soon as I got home. And the one time i did have nausea was after the swollow study....ick!!! Everyone is so different. Just as I, you will heal in your own way. Good luck! Keep us updated!!
  16. Get your protein in first. Chew well, and no drinking fluids 30 minutes before/after
  17. I toss and turn all night, no problems. I am 7 days out tomorrow! Good luck
  18. Good job Valerie!! I walked 9 times on tuesday! There was another sleever on the unit who would NOT get out of her bed, and had VERY loud visiters!!!!! But yes, i paid for it on wed! lol. Keep it up!
  19. Good. Other than all the stomach cramping all the time....not too bad today. If it doesnt go away by monday, I will call the Dr. It urts when before/during/after eating. Glad to hear you are well!!!! Annemarie
