  1. Me too.....to make matters worse I had finally come to accept that I was loosing slowly only to have my np tell me I was not loosing successfully. She said I should be loosing way more than that and she was dissappointed with my progress. Made me feel like crap. I'm doing what I'm suppose to and following diet guidelines . Idk what I'm doing wrong to keep the weight from "falling off"...........
  2. I feel ya pistal35- my mil and close friends I haven seen in months just saw me and didn't even mention a word- they couldn't even tell I'd lost weight. I'm like REALLY???
  3. Me too tautry..... I was sleeved on the 21....I've lost 25 and I'm kinda bummed. I can eat what I want.
  4. I am guilty of not exercising like I should too. I get out and walk and ride horses but I do not commit to 30-45 min of "exercising".
  5. I went thru the 3 week stall and now I'm in a 5 week stall......it is frustrating but I try and remember that before the sleeve I was in a lifetime stall........ I was sleeved on march 21 and weighed 258 on surgery day and am only down 238. Some people say well u coulda saved all that money and done that on your own but I couldn't of because I was a food addict. Idk I am upset but all I can do is try harder.
  6. No you are hungry and not the head hunger either. I had it for 3 weeks but it was frustrating becaus ei couldn't eat and I was extremely hungry. It got better once I could eat food but I get hungry every 4 hrs. Good news is a few bites does the trick!! It was very difficult and I found myself becoming depressed but I have since snapped out of it lol;) you are not alone!!
  7. Ok- I have been having the worst indigestion ever Nd I'm 4 weeks out. It is constant and I haven't told my surgeon yet. It is terrible!!!
  8. You are NOT alone- I am 4 weeks out and this crosses my mind daily lol
  9. Give yourself some more time.....there is no sense in regret because you cannot go back. It will get better, I am 4 weeks out and I am very tired- I just started my b12 supplements but I can barely make it thru the days....BUT better days are ahead;) I was fatigued all the time before so the difference is I am 25 lbs lighter.
  10. Everyone is def different and you can't base your expectations on others experiences. I had extreme gas pain for a week and I ate gas x like candy!! But it is a small price to pay for not having to pour myself into my clothes!
  11. I was extremely nauseous but didn't vomit- just felt terrible for two weeks- on my third week now and still get that feeling when I eat too fast.
  12. THANK GOD I AM MOT ALONE!!! I was sleeve 3/21 and have only lost 11- everyone says they can see a major difference but my scale has quit moving and I AM VERY UPSET- I exercise everyday and get my protein in. I haven't even cheated!! Also I have a CONSTANT URGE to burp but can only get a small little burp out. Does anyone have this feeling?
  13. I'm starving for food:(( I have 5 more days then on tho mushyies.......what pisses me off is I was in a stall for 3 days and only lost a lb this morning!! I have been following my instructions to a t! Ok I feel better now:) any thought?
  14. Well I can assure u I am hungry- I am only 6 days out so don't ask me what kind I hunger it is but I'm guessing the addiction kind cause I was contemplating making brownie batter as a full liquid and then I sai no way drank a half a cup of pickle juice and was fine. So I equate it to when I used to use drugs in my early adulthood- it is a sickness in my mind and I never fully understood how my addiction was controlling me until I had the sleeve. I have had many "aha" moments as they say. I don't know what to do about it tho- I pray and try to just keep busy but man am I craving food- I will say today is better than yesterday and my lord is gonna help me thru this. I want to be healthy. I will be healthy. My body is coming along and I will find a way for my brain to make it there also;)
  15. Serious??? Well it def helped!! This morning tho I have this heaviness in my chest every time I breathe- I just realized I have been drinking water from a straw in my cup tho- u think any correlation there? I remember at the hospital they said no straws while I was in the hospital-- my kids are eating pizza in my suburban right now an I am whping the drool off my phone so sorry if there are some major typos:( lol
  16. Thanks all of you!! I was feeling like I'm gonna feel the same as before the surgery!!!! I was told I had an overabundance of ghrelin but I thought it would be gone as soon as the glands were removed!! So glad I found this site, that totally makes sense about it taking awhile to completely leave your system.....kinda like when u geld a colt, testosterone actually surges even tho the "glands" have been removed lol. I have horses if u couldn't tell lol. I do have crazy cravings to that I never had before but before if I wanted it I ate it.......big change for me now lol. weird as it may seem, if I drink a little dill pickle juice it stops my cravings.......
  17. Wednesday i will be 1 week out but i am hungry. Am i crazy? Are you still on liquids?
  18. Ok, i thought one of the pros of the sleeve was the hunger being gone!!! Not so, is it because i am on only liquids?
