  1. I was banded on April 13th and I felt horrible for the first week. Second was a bit better. Just make sure to take your pain meds on schedule. They really do help
  2. I had my surgery on 4/13 and I get that same pain sometimes.
  3. Thanks for everyone's input...like I said my babies will be watching and they get nervous when I'm in pain. I just wanna be mentally prepared. My doctor said he doesn't numb it first because it actually winds up hurting more
  4. Have my first fill on May 10th and I'm just wondering if it's going to hurt like hell? My husband has to work so I will have my 4 year old and 17 month old with me and I don't wanna scare them...
  5. I had my surgery on April 13 which was a Friday and by Thursday I was feeling 100% better. When I woke up I had a sore feeling near my port but I just put an ice pack on it and it went right away.
  6. Call your doctor!! You may have an infection!!!
  7. I know how you feel. I'm still supposed to be on a clear liquid diet (had my surgery on friday the 13th) but last night I bought some applesauce cause I was so damn hungry! Thankfully the applesauce filled me up. The mental part of this is extremely hard. But I know we can all do it!
  8. So nice to know I'm not the only one feeling like this.
  9. I have like zero energy. I just wanna lay down all day and nap. I have my post op appt Thursday. I hope I can have some food then.
  10. Yay! Congrats!!
  11. I only had my surgery on Friday and I'm already starving!
  12. Thanks guys! I know I should have called my dr before drinking the shakes but I needed something besides jello and water in me to function...hopefully he doesn't yell at me too much at my appointment on Thursday.
  13. I'm gonna have to buy some protein powder. I can't believe no one at the doctors office mentioned that to me. I honestly thought I was doing something wrong. So I'm supposed to be adding protein powder to my Water AND drink protein shakes?
  14. Can't really answer your question but congrats on losing the weight! Good job!
  15. Keep seeing people on here saying that they have no appetite so I'm wondering if I'm doing something wrong? My stomach is growling and I feel do hungry. I'm pretty sure it's not head hunger. I've been eating jello chicken broth and drinking water and protein shakes. But I'm still so hungry! Help?!
