I am a little bummed. I am two and a half weeks post op and I do not feel like I'm losing much weight. Am I over reacting? Is this just in my head? I lost more during my week of liquids Pre op than I have post surgery. I lost 14 pounds Pre op and I still haven't lost a total of 20 pounds yet. Is something wrong????

I was off 10 days and I was good to go.

Whoo I know the feeling!!! I didn't have gas after surgery but around day 5, I was in hell! It goes away though, just walk !

What are you guys taking for mild soreness ?

I am 12 days post op and pretty emotional today. I go back to work tomorrow and I am hoping that will help. I just feel in a funk. I already take something for depression so I don't know what this is

Cara I was sleeved 5-1

Ideally yes that would work but not with my lil firecracker lol! I have a 2 door honda and I have to lift my right knee up to lean in the car to snap her in. That puts a lot of discomfort on my healing stomach. I will probably have my mother in law continue taker my daughter to day care this next week.

I have a 2 year old and today I put her in the car to get a sno cone. I'm not sure what I did but I have hurt my right lower abdomen so I was just warning mothers to be careful if you have just been sleeved!!!!

I have beautiful red hair and am nervous about this part too. I hope it's not too bad

I have a 2 year old so there isnt much time that I am sitting down

What do I need to do to fix this problem? I also have had trapped gas somewhere in the region of my heart. Gas has been there for 5 days now. How do I fix both of these please?

Well it's finally out! Thank you Lord!!!!!! I'm little disappointed that I have only lost 3 pounds since surgery on May 1st but I know from reading on here that is to be expected and my weight WILL come off. I have lost 16 pounds total so far and I am proud of that. They are gone forever!!!!! Thanks to everyone for tuning in to my drain saga

See all dr gave me was a little tiny bottle of liquid lortab.....his nurse told me to take advil!!! I'm talking to the dr about it tomorrow

They are. It has been filling up with fluid so I guess it's been doing what it's suppose to do...

Please don't get me wrong, I am THANKFUL for my sleeve but this drain is about to drive me up the wall! I was sleeved on May 1st. I really thought about that too, why some dr's use drains and some don't? I have had to really empty mine out about 2 times a day too. After about a week, it becomes very tender and I have a 2 year old daughter who thinks its funny to sometimes pull on mine lol. It must come out soon!!
