18 Days Post Op And I Just Want A Salad Haha
It took me 2 1/2 monts until I could handle salad-- it hurt my belly earlier than that-- I was on a lot of yogurt, soups, tuna, eggs at 18 days out.. They told me 700- 800 calories ... which some days I am over some under.. I have re-introduced shakes because I don't feel I am getting enough protein.. LOVE bean or pea soup though!

What Are You Eating At 7 Weeks?
Main thing is to ge tthe protein-- try to get some vegs/fruit in or you will get all bound up I am eating 5 prunes daily to combat that issue! One of my favorite "snacks" is edamame-- I buy the steamfresh bags-- pop in micro-- sprinkle with sea salt and nibble on them... I love my sf ice pops and fudgesicles too! .. Todau I broke down and got a Taco on the way into work from taco bell-- one of those Dorito ones-- chewed a lot for sure!

Forbidden Foods
I have been okay so far but was told no soda or alcohol-- you do know there is a high incidence of alcoholism amongst WLS patients right.. so avoid it if possible! AFTER 2 MONTHS I CAN FINALLY EAT SALAD!!YAY
