  1. I used hernia surgery as my reason do surgery and it worked and u can't lift with that surg wither.
  2. I starved in the hospital after surg. But did not like any of the approved liquids. I got dehydrated and got very sick. I do get hungry but I have learned head hunger and true hunger.
  3. I love to baressentail shakes from Dr.kim but they are expensive. I now is EAS advantage and I love em. Chocolate is my favorite. But I have to drink them extra cold.
  4. Joined fitness pal. Look me up. User: bkswann Sleeved in April 10. 8 weeks today.
  5. Dehydration also leads to dizziness, headaches and just feeling crappy. No good! I was this way two s post op.
  6. Use your computer to contact the admin of site. He help me changed password and got me started again. U have to email but it has a quick response.
  7. My doctor rx me a once a week vitamin D pill.
  8. I drink miralax every day as ordered by my surg and it does not help...gonna try the tea thanks...
  9. I think ur right. I just did the numbers on fitness pal and I have only had 205 calories today.
  10. My start weight was 261 and I am 8 weeks post op and weigh 226. I have been told since we have less to lose we will be slow losers. I have stuck to my 600 calorie in take and lots of Water. I would like to toss the scale into the freeway!!!! All of my clothes are huge and even my bra size went from a 42 DDD to a 38DD. My poor panties roll down when I walk, but the dang scale wont move. I had a huge stall at week 3 and it lasted until about week 6....so I figure I will hit another stall soon not to mention my monthly will be here in a couple days.
  11. We had a patient come in with a swollen calf and we ordered a Doppler and sure enough he had a blood clot. It is serious go to another er or doctor. He should have had that test done to be sure.
  12. Swollen calf, pain, and sometimes there is no symptoms.
  13. Mom did nothing for me. I was told to use miralax by my surg but that does not work for me either. I have to take a laxative in order to go. I have tried veggies, water, exercise and herbal tea. People say it is because we are taking in few calories. But without my once a week laxative I just don't feel right. I feel bloated and heavy.
  14. I am 8 weeks out tomorrow. I have lost 35 pounds. I started at 261 lost 20 pounds on pre- op diet and 15 pounds since being sleeved 4/10. I am ready to throw the scale in the trash. I have lost several inches but the scale is not moving. Still eating my Protein and Water. Any advise. I don't count my calories because I eat so few. I eat when I am hungry and eat only until I feel full. I eat protein first and then veggies, but after protein I don't have much room for veggies. An example would be....a whole can of tuna will last me an entire day. A Protein shake for Breakfast and chicken for dinner. Lots of water.
  15. I have restriction but it still scares me that I will mess it up. I have lost 35 and my sleeve date was 4/10. I am a slow loser and it worries me. I wish u luck and keep us posted on ur progress.
  16. When were u sleeved? Did u ever have restriction?
  17. How does it get stretched????
  18. I am in and love a challenge....
  19. As a sleeve patient I have a person in my life that assumes I should have lost more weight since my surg date of 4/10. My total weight loss is 35 pounds but I have lost several inches. People just think u wake up from the surgery thin and it does not work that way. It is so frustrating to hear the nagging comments and jokes. I started out at 261 and I would say losing to 226 is great and without the sleeve that would not be possible. Say a prayer for me!!! Kim
  20. This is scaring me now too. I am able to eat more than in the beginning but I limit myself and of course make better choices than before the surg.
  21. I had to give those up. They hurt my sleeve. To heavy for me.
