I am getting sleeved April 30th! Seem's so far away.

Today I am having my stress test and then on to the gastro doctor to be evaluated and to schedule my scope. Wish me luck!

If I died today I would have no pictures of me and my wonderful husband and kids. I will not allow people to take pictures of me. So I can't wait to have a family picture.

Who cares what others think....some have never had to deal with being fat. Most could not handle it even for a day. I wish I would have done it sooner. (this on the waiting bench, but ready for the lose bench)

I have told some people. Of course everyone has an opinion, but of course most of them don't weigh over 125 pounds. I am ready to start my new life and don't care who knows or who disagrees.

I did my barium swallow Friday. They saw a blockage in my esophagus and now I have to see a gastro doctor and get a scope. I am also scared it is something bad like a tumor.

I used it before my decision to get surgery and I could not get over the texture. But I was thinking about using it again after surg because of the vitamins.

I had an Upper GI Friday and it appears to show a blockage. Now I have to have a scope and go see a gastro doctor. I have read articles stating patients should have nothing to eat or drink 8 hours prior to barium x-ray. This would effect the results. I was not told to come in fasting so i ate breakfast. I was also told everyone gets the scope before having the surgery. I am scared.

Did you guy's get an upper GI or scope prior to your exam? If so did the results show a blockage? My upper GI showed a blockage and I have to get a scope done. The nurse said everyone is required to get the scope before having the sleeve. I am scared. Thanks for you input. BigKim

I schedule my surg tomorrow, but I wanted to know if anyone has experience "hair Loss"? I have short hair and not much to spare.
